Previously I got try to use this AOTG in my PC by installing that Astro OTG driver, but it still cannot work..
This AOTG not a useful friendly to watch program.

Since you say eCCG has available for free in AOTG but you can't able to watch this channels, need to write email to astro regarding this matter.

Nothing special, just you submit directly to astro HQ..
But their support suck after your decoder warranty is over.

Coz once your decoder warranty finish, you cannot make replacement decoder only.

In fact, astro say need to purchase full set njoi include installation fee.

I believe that RM43 is not HD channels one..

What you mean after 4th month subscriptions will pay less by RM10?
Is it means after 4th month you only pay RM33/monthly onwards?

I though RM33 is include HD channels.
If don't have HD channels, then useless one for the offer...

Yes, we expect more cheaper offer with the value channels....
Those unnecessary channels such as Malay and in-house channels are not as attractive to us...

Suggest u install astro family lite (RM 20/monthly) almost same as njoi but have include korea and taiwan channels.
You install njoi is sekali RM284 for decoder without installation cost. But if you pasang astro family lite, you just slowly slowly pay RM20/monthly with technical support.
At least you install family lite, astro still have support free replacement decoder if any faulty in the future... (But might impose to tied contract again).

Of course you can't find it in Astro website, because astro said family lite does not earn so much profit.
And this family lite only target for those cheapulak entertainment customers.

I believe still have limited astro dealer got offer for this family lite, however need to dig out those "limited" astro dealer..

I think this family lite is EOL, stop continue selling this package as astro does not earn profit much for this package.

Somemore, it is almost 90% same channel as njoi package.
I hv 2 astro account which is njoi one (refurnish one) n family lite (zapper decorder).

I get this family lite due to one of the astro agent announce for the limited lite package. And I get this family lite again as least astro got support for free change decorder or remote control (if there is any faulty in the future). For Njoi, astro kinda give shit selling refurnish set (recycle decorder) with warranty 1 yr for decorder. Once if there is any faulty, u nid to subscribe njoi package. No replacement allow for any single accessories.

Lite package was end of last year 2016.

My one njoi decorder is refurnish set while family lite is zapper decorder.

There are always pro n cons between these 2 devices.
For refurnish decorder wat I experience:

1) Very user-friendly once ready (After boot show times), u can able to capture the CH with front display.

2) The bad thing sometimes this type of decorder easily hang, my one experience unable show menu display from TV until u restart the decorder again.

3) Difficulty to remove smart card as it insert too inside. If your fingernails long, u might difficulty to remove smartcard.


For zapper decorder
1) You cannot able to see the CH display from front panel decorder display. There is only green n red light only. The design of front panel kinda shit.

2) You don't know this zapper decorder ready, coz no boot word n show timing.

3) This zapper look like android tv box. The smartcard slot at the side which look appear so small like mini box. N it is easily remove smartcard even your finger nails is long.

That is only happen especially for njoi one.
We must report the evil dealers to astro careline seriously.
They will take further action against this dealers/technicials.

Remote control easily spoil especially u accidentially fail down from higher place.

Remote control still hv warranty (for astro, sorry for njoi cust) as long as it is faulty not by physical broken.

P.S, sometimes it is depend cust service person willing want to help u or not la..

This decoder quite old already.
Rather you change new device, at least got warranty decoder.

That is nothing special for this Njoi now.
The only thing is you can watch the channels through your phone.

That is simple.

But wanna to ask.. If let say I upgrade from njoi to postpaid bill, is it possible to change my njoi decoder to Zapper or PVR decoder?
And assume after I subscribe for the postpaid bill, and I back to Njoi plan. Is it my Zapper or PVR decoder still can support Njoi?

Yours one pvr is build one wifi that decoder? Or the without build in wifi decoder pvr?

Oh, that pvr is old version with heavy carry box.
Heard that pvr a lot of issue, especially system problem.

Basically, you need to purchase full njoi set with decoder & smart card.
Do take note smart card must link with decoder.

You wont be watch any channel if you place different decoder.

Depend you like to watch what channels.

Some people like to watch Maya HD (for malay), or AEC (for chinese). Indian I'm not sure, maybe Raj TV.
For English channels, just purchase top-up. But suggest you rather use postpaid to watch English channels (either postpaid astro or Hypptv) for more cost saving.
But if you like to watch 8TV or NTV7 like that, mytv is available already.

If gold smartcard a bit malfunction, I believe still can change for it via service center. (FOC no charge if I'm not wrong)
For Njoi, there is no way to "replace" but only purchase "new" full set decoder.
Of course, the installation charges will applicable.

But the black decoder is quite better because you want watch HD channels.
