If you want cheaper somemore, get a UHF antenna and a digital TV receiver, and watch digital TV channels instead (MYTV/myFreeview). Definitely the cheapest option and no monthly fees.

It doesn't matter NJOI or Astro. It is still using the same centralised antenna system anyway.

Since your condo has centralised antenna, then just inform the astro installer to connect the satellite cable to the "Astro port" at your room's wall. No need to install own dish. Just connect the cable, then can get satellite signal already.

Your condo doesn't allow you to cincai install own dish, is because it will make your condo building look ugly with tons of Astro dishes around, which your management office wouldn't want that. That's why they have centralised antenna installed at building's rooftop, where all residents can just connect to the astro port wall socket installed at every unit in the building.

Maybe try find some technicians online that offer box repairing services? If can't repair, then only consider buy new box?
To buy new box, just get it directly from NJOI website or Lazada/Shopee/Go Shop all those.
It means your box can't detect satellite signal from your satellite dish. Maybe something wrong somewhere on your Astro dish.

Get an Astro technician to come over and check/fix for you, or contact customer service for assistance.
