Really hope Lukaku would have a future at Chelsea... but somehow I have a gut feeling that a well known striker is gonna come during the summer.... if that's the case, we'll see Lukaku loan out to other club again... Not to question his ability.... Just that Mou prefers someone with ton of experience spearhead our attack... It always been like that... See Eto'o's privilege comparing to Ba... experience always comes first for Mou... but it'll be exciting to see Lukaku as our lone striker....

I think Lukaku is part of the next year plan..because earlier this season..Mou wish that Lukaku stay..but he understand that Lukaku need game time..plus that boy ask for loan.

Ba and Eto is almost sure off somehwere else next season..

Torres..still 50/50..

Its clear that we will sign a striker..no doubt..

Question is whether that striker (guessing i'tll be Costa, Cavani or Falcao) will usurp Lukaku. I"m pretty sure the latter would not want to sit on the bench again. Although with the large number of games to be played theres plenty of chances for both to play. Ba / Eto'o will have to make way no doubt.

I think lukaku will stay smile.gif

Unless he already 22 and above and still loan to other club.

My striker prediction for next season line up will be:
-one main striker (still dont know who but if courtois ask for transfer,i think we will buy costa)
-torres
-lukaku

if in Mou head Lukaku as the main man..then we will sign a prolific second grade striker..If he see Lukaku as no.2 we will sign someone big..but I dont think on the same level or price as Falcao or Cavani..

yap..you can clearly see that we are driven by this FFP in most of our decision, attempt to move to a new stadium, stockpiling youth players, new signing age policy, resale value of players, sponsorship and partnership.

I really like that we have a clear, crisp plan in place to combat FFP. You dont really see that much movement of this type of magnitude from other clubs. Go Ron Gourlay thumbup.gif

The system that Mou's playing now doesn't give many goals for strikers unless a beast like the good old Drogba who can create goals out of nothing... Mou's implementing super fast counter attack. We already see that in the second goal against Newcastle in form of Hazard, Willian and Eto'o... the striker will always be a bait to lure in defenders... as we saw last game (Eto'o back pass to Hazard). That is one of the fastest counter attack that we can see. on par with Real Madrid's during Mou's reign... if we want strikers to score plenty of goals, we need strikers that can create something out of nothing... or someone who is super fast that can run with our speedy wingers together during counter attack... does Lukaku fits the bill? I saw Costa play from Atletico Madrid... his work rate is impressive... in fact, all AM players' work rate is impressive... impressive work by Simeone. But I would like to see Lukaku lead the line first before we decide to cash in on a superstar striker....

totally agree. 1 of the main problem now is players wages. the accumulated amount affected alot to our purchasing power.

so guys, dont put too much hope on big name come summer biggrin.gif

UNLESS, end of the season we won UCL,BPL,FA, all yadda yadda cup. tongue.gif

I think thts what they're doing selling the likes of Cole at the end of the season. The other thing is we're still carrying some deadweight ( with all due respect Roberto Di Matteo still earning 130k pounds a week )

Cole contract end this season. By end of season he can go freely. We save on his salary only if he did go.
