QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Jun 6 2014, 06:30 PM) Glad to c KLCC up 15 cents to 6.60 today Its inclusion into FBM KLCI really helps There a good and bad. Good KLCC in FBM KLCI - is main attractive for Fund Manger which hv objective invest in FBM KLCI index - KLCC will hold a high valuation during good time and moving forward. - vise verse KLCC - opportunity for cheap sale KLCC Bad KLCC in FBM KLCI - more volatile for Fund manager to dump when Financial Crisis in the region. - MGS 10yr Yield go up KLCC will surpress- indrect RED FBM KLCI. juz my 2sen....

QUOTE(omgimnoob @ Jun 8 2014, 11:24 AM) Sunreits going up is due to the expectation of investors on the revenue to be generated from the near completion Sunway Putra Mall. Sunway said that they will renovate the Sunway Putra mall area to be as equivalent elegant as Sunway Pyramid. Upside opportunity is there. Sunway Putra mall will have rental yields because there is a lot of functions organised in PWTC and it is nearby PWTC. A strategic location for Sunreit to invest, and a wise choice for others to buy their reits. Just my opinion, don't take it too seriously. got picture? hardly for me to pass by PWTC. Good news for mine wife ; waiting rumor of BNM will rasie OPR this july. Saving Bullet for BUY BUY after JULY. This post has been edited by felixmask: Jun 9 2014, 08:45 AM

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jun 9 2014, 09:57 PM) Actually it is positive for both. 1. Index fund managers need to buy, so there is always some buying force. 2. Lot of fund managers in the stock, provide good liquidity Even for crash issue, yes, stocks that with lot of fund manager may drop more quickly than a low volume stocks when crisis hit, but if look at the other way, it provides opportunity to accumulate. I agree. book KLCC in 555, potential revive very fast when ppl dumb.

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jul 18 2014, 04:29 PM) actually what is the good point of buying reits? since after dividend price will drop. check the factor %dividend yield. always tandem with MGS 10year yield. 1) when MGS 10year yield go up, MReit will drop so that the Mreit yield is above th MGS 10year yield. Ditto when vice verse... The most important you happy the % yield.

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Jul 18 2014, 06:02 PM) GOLDIS takeover IGB @ 2.88/share Dunno whether tis will trigger MGO for IGBReit? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Goldis, IGB suspended for corporate exercise
KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the securities of Goldis Bhd and IGB Bhd has been suspended on Friday for the release of a corporate exercise. Goldis said on Thursday it would be proposing a corporate exercise which would result in "Goldis making a very material announcement".
"Therefore, the company has requested for the suspension of the trading of Goldis' shares until the full details of the proposal are available," it said. Both Goldis and IGB have common shareholders in the Tan family which is the major shareholder in both companies. In late June, Goldis denied a weekly news report entitled "Tan family mulls takeover bid for Goldis". Goldis had then stated in a letter to Bursa Malaysia Securities that it had not received any takeover notice and the company was not aware of any potential takeover offer.
