some of us don't have the luxury of jumping to console, hell i am still using my old amd x2 64. whilst buying console give more gaming avenue, it is not suitable for me right now. I am kinda fuzzy in the region locked thing, one thing maybe the game gets cheaper on sites but independent trader may have cheaper avenue. i don't want to be a pirate again , the hassle is too much to play one game.

There are advantages like you could resell those games to fund for new games which PC gamers don't have.
It's just buying the console which is expensive but others are quite alright. Digital games on PSN, Live and others, have discounts as well for games.

i've seen people do that. as gamer with the 2 small children who hogs the telly, there is no way i can play in peace and the physical appearance of a game console will make my wife furious.

I understand how you feel about region lock and seriously if more games becomes region lock we might need to think twice from now on.

3DS is quite a good buy. The game libraries are a lot and there is plenty of games to choose from though there is region lock..
But there should be no problem since US and Asia games can play on both Asia and US 3DS.

Know about the 3DS, was thinking getting the 2DS cause it's pad is good enough for me huge hands. And I buy dunno either to get MH or Pokemon X/Y

2DS has mono sound though. If have extra cash would definitely recommend XL.
MH3U is a good game but since the 3DS version lack multiplayer unlike Wii U better get Pokemon

Well I don't give much crap about sound If I can hear it, it's good enough in my book. I joined the Steam Hoarders last summer sale. And holy sh*t I spend almost RM 250 that entire week Well time to put a stop to it. I might spend hours and hours into pokemon to get all Perfect Pokedex again

It's alright I guess. I haven't played the first so I can't compare them.
