QUOTE(Cactite @ Apr 9 2014, 11:47 AM)
I think he might mean waist peg snapped off. In which:

1. Never had the problem

2. Superglue/cement
*
Never had the problem either.. plus.. if u feel so inclined, 3rd party companies have released a metal waist peg for sinanju if u find yours in need of replacing

My first gunpla was the NG red frame.. still have it now to remember my origin tongue.gif
First MG though was the MG deathscythe hell.. huge mess and parts are flopping anout everywhere.. especially the wings doh.gif
Then moved on straight to MG sinanju.. i regret nothing tongue.gif i think it was sinanju that truly got me hooked on the hobby

*
MG Qan[T] is about 150.. full saber is 3rd party.. and can hurt ur wallet for about rm80++ (++ because its hard to find now and people take advantage of that)

Fortunately i got mine from one of the modellers in this thread but i still have not gotten myself a MG Qan[T].. so if u see this.. sorry tongue.gif i know i said i would get one asap

Its kind of hard to take picture of red gunpla, most of the time comes out pink. Had to use extra lighting but still red red is not quite accurate. I'm using phone camera only... whistling.gif

i'm going to bring out the photobooth tomorrow.. tonight it's a bit late and i'm a bit lazy tongue.gif hopefully it turns out better later

damn amazing piece.. the only problem is, it's using the old Exia's hips, so it's designed in such a way that it cannot take backpacks that are too heavy, since Exia didn't have any backpack
so he tends to lean backwards a lot, and that's a bit frustrating.. other than that, however, i have no complaints about this kit.. the red really pops and looks better than in review pics, and the color scheme is pretty damned good
definitely a must for people who are more into melee units.. he is really one fantastic looking mobile suit

Heh, that's nothing when you imagine what that backpack would do the ankles of an MG version of it tongue.gif
*
indeed whistling.gif
but he really does look better than pictures of him showed.. in pics he always looked a bit pinkish, but he actually is a deep dark red

haven buy the knife yet =.='' will be buying it next week, but i saw exia RG was on pre order is it recommended to newbies? smile.gif and one more sand paper you guys use 1000 or 1200 grade?
*
RG is NOT recommended for newbies.. it has more intricate construction and much more parts.. some parts are more fragile and require special care.. i would advise u to try MG first to see how inner frames work, then move on to RGs

okey noted~! will take on the MG!  rclxms.gif and which gunpla are recommended? MG MS-09RS Char's can? dunno got stock or not i like the original purple one
*
as stated above, MG Jesta is a good solid choice for someone starting out, it's fairly new and is solid enough to not contain too many fragile parts.. just be very careful of the hands tongue.gif
otherwise, you can try for MG RX-78 3.0 since that's like a 1/100 RG with the color separation and decals, so you can get a feel of the intricacy of RGs as well as how much more details can be put into a bigger kit
also MG MS-09RS Char's Rick Dom is a fun choice too, feel free to pick up whichever one you fancy as these would afford you quite a good experience.. just try to stay away from transformable units first.. those will give you a big headache if you're just starting out

also if you'd like, u can look into MG Gundam X.. i think that one is a fantastic build and i had a lot of fun building it

The easier and quickest way to paint a gundam for a beginner is??? Feel like wanna paint my arios hg into black stealth arios biggrin.gif
*
spray paint whistling.gif
masking will be a bother if you've already completed the kit.. better to take a look at the manual and parts first, figure out what color scheme you want then paint it piece by piece.. spray paint is best if u don't have enough money for an AB or on a budget

Any simple rules to follow before spray paint it??? Newbie here  blush.gif
Currently my idea is all black with some red color and panel lining  nod.gif
*
just wash the parts, clean them, put a layer of primer, wait for it to dry (some prefer overnight, or up to your experience.. i myself just wait overnight since i spray at night) then spray the color u like.. light coats, be sure to keep the part about 10-20cm away and spray side to side evenly.. spraying perfectly is tiring and u may need a few coats, so u have to spend quite a bit of time there
those are some basics i think.. best you try it yourself and get the feel of it.. but whatever you do, do NOT use industrial thinner to clean paint off your parts.. it will destroy your gunpla.. get the paint remover from hobby stores, those are your best bet
that's all i know, i think.. i'm not quite good in the painting section yet.. i myself am trying to get the hang of airbrushing still, so.. just give it a try, and have fun! spray cans are pretty cheap anyway, i usually get those Mr.DIY spray that cost only about RM7-8 each
