Guys, i'm currently using the usb data cable on the k610i.

what's the difference between Phone Mode and File Transfer Mode?

Does it only charge in file transfer mode?

File Transfer Mode allows you to transfer files and your phone will be in charging mode.

Phone Mode allows you to access the network and use it to surf 3G Broadband a.k.a. modem phone and it needs to be on to allow the network to flow and connect.

guys..i just bought a used k610i for RM470

i have a few questions to ask...

1. the battery life is very short...only ard 2hrs+ talk time. is it normal?

2. the hp gets very hot after ard 10mins of talking until my face also become hot. again, is it normal?

I have a question to ask. Is it K610i better or K618i is better? I heard these 2 models are quite unstable? Is it true? I'm looking to buy one of this phone, but now still a bit undecided,any recommendation?

Are you sure it's an original phone or recon phone? A battery life of 2 hours talk time isn't normal either

apart of wat mentioned above,

phone mode: need SE files manager to access phone, enable phone remain active / switch on during access / files transfer.

file transfer mode: phone dedicated as removable drives, switched off, faster transfer, accessible as removable drives.

reliable to me. anyway you can switch it off via the service menu (>*<<*<*). but you will never get 100% full charge via USB.

should be problem with the battery. get it check in service centre if ori set for free.

hey was just wondering if the k610i supported m2 cards up to 2GB? cos i read from a website that it only supports up to 1GB...is this true? Are 2GB m2 cards out of the question for k610i? I'm looking to buy a 2GB m2 card so if u can post a reply that would be great. thanks.

do u have a credible source to back ur information? Because support of up 1GB only is really crap... i read on esato that one guy attempted it and it worked fine. Is this true?

if that guy 2GB works fine in his K610i, then there shouldn't be any problem

only thing i think he will complain is, a tad of lag after inserting 2GB card
