QUOTE(shahnakal @ Nov 19 2010, 08:37 AM) i've attend to many class before.. most of them is basic, after that i start to learn and study from internet.. yes its better!! dont waste your money for basic class while u can get more for FREE from internet!! look FILTER EFFECT for detail about filter, and maybe your sifu dont know about this also.. QUOTE(flame_burstz @ Nov 22 2010, 02:53 PM) Maybe he has his own thoughts. Yerp, definitely agreed but I like the practical session shooting in studio with directions. filters do somewhat decrease the image quality. anything you put in front of the lens will affect image quality. the question is, is it noticeable. cheap UV filters are what ppl buy usually. and while they add a measure of protection, it may cause reflections and hence affecting the image. that's why there are different brands and price range.

QUOTE(mick87 @ Nov 25 2010, 10:51 AM) so is not nocessary to have filter rite?? is jus to protect the lens? I assume we are talking about UV filters only. These days it might not be necessary. In the old times, films are more sensitive to UV light, which cause haziness to be seen in prints. These days, digital sensors and newer films are less sensitive to UV light, so there is no need for one unless it's a very hazy day. So in essence, yes, it's only for protection. Be of the same opinion. Can save money and funding for other gears.

They have plenty of useful video tutorials for specific Nikon cameras : http://www.nikondigitutor.com/eng/d50/index.shtmlThat's for the D50. got a promotion for nikon, d5000 with tripod (but short one), bag, 1 free photo class and free printing. all for rm1.5, good offer or not? scared scam coz later d5000 sux. ??

I always have this problem, memory capacity vs battery life. I have 2 Nikon batteries and a 4gb memory card. Its quite frustrating that usually my memory gets full even before my 1st battery reaches da limit. So I'm planning to get a 8gb or 16gb memory card instead. Which suits my battery capacity more? Photo ratio would be 20% RAW, 30% jpeg flash and 50% jpeg w/o flash. Any memory card brands and models in specific to recommend?
