If you are looking for a good photography book that is easy to understand especially for the beginners I suggest find the book entitled,"Digital Photography All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies" It is very reader-friendly.You acn also get some tips from different fields of photography that you might need when you start venturing into different subjects as well. I say though that experience is really the best teacher that is why i suggest that you really click your heart away and see how the pictures work out for you. good luck!

ACR : Adobe Camera Raw. You can use this application. You may edit the image and save it as PDF, so that you can edit it in PS.
OR download the CR2 pluggin for PS. blush.gif

"Digital Photography All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies" is very good book for beginner and it is very easy to understand with some of the real picture example as well. The book cost around RM127.

Grab it if you really into reading.

possible. usually for compacts, you can go into macro mode.

if not also zoom as much as you can, then have the subject be as close as you can too.
