Yup, was surprised Cataclysm dev didn't put on it. Anyway is Cataclysm dev not active? I saw the last update was Dec.
*
not every dev commit weekly update, unless stated otherwise.....

Just flashed SlimKat and now my TB does not detect my root access? How  icon_question.gif
*
if you're using SuperSU, just flash SuperSU flashable zip straight after flash SlimKat. else, just install from PLAY.

Anyone here uses Google Play music app? Have any problem detecting music from sdcard? Even though my other music app can detect the music files, play music can't detect; keep asking me to transfer music to my phone.
Haha yeah, after reminder here, I went and dl faux app on my N7 and uses that to change for elementalx settings  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yes, I'm. using it and play my music files from internal storage, no problem.

viper4android quite popular across xda.....

Oh, also need add in Red in color section haha  biggrin.gif
So you just transfer your files to Music folder and play music can detect?
I tried removing the folder, create a new Music folder, transfer, clear data on play music , reinstalled still can't detect.

Haih, if cannot then it's ok since my primary music app is gmmp. Just wanted to test play music.
*
just normal transfer. maybe you need to re-run media-scanner or upload your music files from PC to Google music cloud, then download via app to storage and see.

I dont use any apps to check my wakelock (because some dont work on ART) and I dont take any screenshot either but usually I get only a couple of hours of SOT, at most 3 when browsing before battery when to 20-30%. And it heats up more than I play games.

Yesterday I totally disable data and WiFi to check battery life, even gaming under this condition is longer than total browsing time! Its not a simple game either, played GTAIII and finished about 6 mission before battery reach 50% mark
*
seems like your network connectivity drain more battery than gaming, looks abnormal. what's your cell network signal strength in dBm value? and also data network in LTE? H+?

from my experience, the factory reset option from my twrp recovery are not delete all these or internal sdcard. anyway, to play safe. you better just copy to your PC for another set of backup....

I use it as a lockscreen widget, and also a homescreen widget. It takes up the whole default homescreen panel of mine and I have incoming notifications to appear on it. So I can access them easily. I also have all my battery, network, weather and all sort of info on it. It's somehow similar to the Glance app by Snapdragon.
*
after tried battery guru, I found that Glance also seem like coming from same objective, unnecessary extras advertisement video and Qualcomm snapdragon logo appear every corner obviously...

Look what MKBHD did to his Note 3 and S4, he installed cyanogenmod. Samsung makes good hardware, but software are not their expertise. The BADA OS is dead, and Tizen will soon follow suit. either premature death or inevitable death after being ignored by developers.
*
Oppo seem toward to right direction, come with cyanogenmod option. latest new about Samsung: Jolla engineer says lookout for SailFish OS on Samsung phones...

Personal opinion for rooted phones: really feel those apps are not needed. Just need to understand what is preventing your phone from deep sleep/wakelocks and take appropriate actions for them.

Might be useful for non-root phone.

+1
not useful for me.

Yes, correct. dev changed DPI from stock 480 to 360. you simple change the value in build.prop and any convenient DPI app to change it and reboot. anyway, dev had planned to added back DPI change function, waiting.....
