Mini heart attack just now. Was taking dump, after finish my business, normally I put phone on top of left over toilet paper roll which is slim. Turn around, and my phone dropped. Dropped face down. Pick it up, no scatter glass, turn it on and it's WORK Except for whole front was wet, and there's a small dent over bottom right of my alu bumper. Never regret on putting case on my phone

QUOTE(clon12 @ Feb 23 2014, 11:25 AM) luckily no drop inside bowl... Now that you mentioned, I was damn lucky that n5 didnt drop into bowl. QUOTE(rthm93 @ Feb 23 2014, 11:32 AM) Hi guys, just bought my 1st nexus ytd Will rooting the device brings much better user experience? It's like gaining admin access to your phone, if you dont utilize it, no differences. If you like tweak things or use non conventional apps, then yeah it's recommended.

QUOTE(Mohamadhaziqf @ Feb 23 2014, 01:16 PM) Guys sorry for these noob questions but i really appreciate you answering it 1)what is the diff between the LG official seller compared to another seller that sells nexus5? Why do people that buy from not official seller complain got lose button etc? 2( what is lte? Thanks alot 1. There's no official seller for Nexus5, as LG Malaysia did not bring in ( as of now ). Lose button simply are LG's bad quality control over earlier batch, some still receive loose button now. Edit : Loose button is random. 2. One of 4G standard. http://bit.ly/Ohb6s6This post has been edited by Someonesim: Feb 23 2014, 01:40 PM

QUOTE(ic-klass @ Feb 24 2014, 08:31 AM) Just a Q, AFTER u enabled ART. Do you turn off the developer option or keep it always on? Reason I asked, scared my kids my change something in it when the play my N5. You could use application lock to secure specific apps or setting with PIN code so no one could mess with it. That's why I never worry to pass my phone to friend, as I secured most apps I need privacy with. Here's the one I use. AppLockQUOTE(nasrulafiq93 @ Feb 24 2014, 12:38 PM) Anyone here plays psp emulator? Its called PPSSPP Can list the supported games? Funny for you to ask in Nexus 5 forum A quick google lead me to their forum with long list of compatible games.

Mobile World Congress 2014, so far boring stuff. Super low end Nokia asha and Android phone, they try to fight moto G with super low price. Sony Z2, tiny tinnie upgrade, ignored. Tonight Samsung event, most likely no surprise either.

Slightly larger screen, slightly faster proc, slight higher mega pixel camera, slightly larger battery, slightly different body looks. It should call Galaxy S4.2 Z2 similar case except same screen size and same mega pixel camera, so it's Z1.1
Cant wait to see the sales number of these.

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Feb 25 2014, 10:16 AM) So now left only HTC One v2.0? LG skipped, Nokia skipped, Sony skipped, Samsung skipped . . . . Yeah, guess left some tiny hope on The All New One. They almost spot on with One, I'm 'almost' convinced to walk away from Nexus.

QUOTE(ndragon @ Feb 25 2014, 10:21 AM) same snapdragon 800 processor... issit the xiaomi mi-3 variant?.. if nt den really like no upgrade.. No source can confirm which SoC yet, but from info that it's running 2.5GHz Qualcomm, so it should be Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. QUOTE(natzakaria @ Feb 25 2014, 10:28 AM) Wait until you encounter HTC infamous pink - purple tint camera and the ridiculously famous idiots at HTC Malaysia Customer Service Yup, those and the fact that I'm still not convinced to UI looks. I applied mine using hot shower method, so may assumed no dust, but water drop should able to splash on it. Got 3 spider webs, 1 missing after weeks, 2 remains.

QUOTE(pokgaizai @ Feb 26 2014, 12:36 PM) Is the S2W function drain battery? Mine drop about 5% for 2 hours idle... is that normal? I use S2W/S2S daily ( except during sleep ), it seems normal to me. I had 5% per hour drop with S2W/S2S on, connected to Wifi with Google Now enabled and auto sync enabled, light usage.

QUOTE(pokgaizai @ Feb 26 2014, 04:50 PM) How to flash the slimkat without adb or toolkit.. The instruction must wipe data also, so if the rom zip copied earlier will be deleted too. " In recovery make a full wipe as per these instructions: In TWRP choose advanced in wipe section and wipe dalvik cache, cache, system and data. " Can i just copy the zip to a reserved folder without being wiped? Long time didnt do this advanced wipe, but if remember correctly, wiping data DOESNT erase your storage. That's mean your folder of music/photos/zip will be safe, as long it's not inside specific apps's folder.

QUOTE(Peculator @ Feb 27 2014, 08:39 AM) Give up the hope. Even their flagship G2 phone still hasn't been officially released here. LG dont care about SEA market ? Even Singapore dont have it officially. Market potential here are lower than say India. India had Google Play supported Nexus 5, and Moto X going to release there officially later on as well. Fuuuuuuuu . . . .

QUOTE(Peculator @ Feb 27 2014, 11:22 AM) Depends on the sellers you chose to buy with. Also, it stated on the box too. I think doesnt matter where the AP warranty from. All Nexuses are made in Korea.
