Hi everyone,

I'm new to this streaming android tv box here.
I am wondering if you guys know any app that can watch Hong Kong's Viu TV live.
Currently, I am watching it with their official apps by using a 7 Day free trial VPN, because they can only allow streaming if you are from Hong Kong.

And please do recommend some good stable apps for Live TV (HK, China, Taiwan), Documentaries and Sport ( live football ) too.

if what u are testing is legit official app, keep going. u pay like astro.

other methods to get it are not legit, so cannot spill all the beans here, keep low profile.

esp using channel names - a gross violation of copyright.

if u read/follow this thread enough, u get all the tips to get such free apps.

they may not last long so u keep replacing them.

but can u get them? answer is yes.

Easy solution.. Pay for a subscription with that VPN service, as you know it works.. Then continue using the official app.. No need to hunt here, hunt there..

vpn's supposedly banned in china since early this year.

china legit providers to serve china market only, just like astro cannot be used in thailand or singapore.

but... china dramas, there are apk's/ways to get them... not all, not latest but can get some.

the above is one the longest lasting ones i hv used.

it dies, resurrected, dies again (with a message "will stop becos of server attacks), then lives again.

this one also going fine, but less stuff.


and... redbox 1.2 "malaysian" section is good again.

agree.. it serve well.. with the message saying "free" thats the golden word

edit: seems like the service is not going to last. they have put up notice saying the service will be stopped soon as too many attacked their server
