Easy solution.. Pay for a subscription with that VPN service, as you know it works.. Then continue using the official app.. No need to hunt here, hunt there..

Samsung smart TVs don't simply allow sideloading apps. One is pretty much restricted to apps available within the TV's app store. To sideload apps....you'd have to be a pro at Agile Development programming and take up Samsung TV dev programming.. Much cheaper and easier to get an external box for third-party apps usage.

Some apps you can.. Follow the link AVFAN provided.. However, you may quickly find out how severely limiting that STB box and it's specs are.. My advice? Get your own more powerful and open Android OS powered box.

Thanks for the heads up and posting of apks.. Though, I wouldn't encourage regular folks to go installing Kodi betas. At least wait for RC releases or the stable release.

Let me guess.. You downloaded content with surround sound and meant to be played with decent audio equipment on at least 5.1 speakers settings.. Where dialogues are often primarily channeled through the single front central speaker.. But then you are playing it via regular speakers as stereo?

Not really.. The acestream app doesn't work like such. Think of it as a plug-in that gets called up by other apps when needed. Those other apps like Kodi, etc are the ones where the links are fetched or entered.. Acestream serves backend.. Which means, those acestream specific links won't work as intended without the acestream app pulling certain strings..

Freeflix is alright.. Still buggy on the iptv side.. VOD is okay.

I haven't had to use redbox and livenettv for quite sometime...There's a pal who recently shared his AOTG login with me.. So making max use of that first till later.. Coupled with UnifiTV..okay for now...

For starters, Kodi and the MiBox doesn't play nice. MiBox issue.. But try again.. Fresh Kodi install, then Quasar.

Since you are comfortable going the paid route.. Shop around more. Cuz there are better paid services out there... Main reason going with CloudTV is that they've been around for "donkey" years.. So they won't so easily close up shop compared to smaller fly by night providers..

You are wrong.. Kodi's UI and performance trumps both. Just have to know how to use it.. Besides, Kodi has stood the test of time. What PT&SB did, Kodi still does.. Addons come and go. Good thing is the same addon can be forked and renamed.. Voila, back in bizness..

With Quasar, it's just launch the addon and search.. You can favorite or Import into library and play from there later. Handy to keep up with shows. Kodi autoupdates it's library directly from say imdb or tmvb, etc.. Locally too, if you prefer to maintain yourself.. Great for NAS owners.. As for La Casa de Papel.. You no have Netflix? Okay, since you butter so much.., I helllp u.. Search for it under its English title.. "Money Heist". Be it on Netflix or P2P sources. It's a sure find.. You are welcome..

Nope.. I don't use PT/SB unless I absolutely have to (which is rare).. If you used Quasar on Kodi, it'd be an easy find.. Simply enable the proper providers.. or visited the corresponding indexing website via browser..

One of the primary reasons I still retain my Netflix sub is precisely to avoid being in the pickle you find yourself in right now. See, with my Netflix sub, I don't need to think where.. I just search and "Money Heist" pops up..ready to stream instantly on the big screen..

Exactly.. Many would have noticed I don't put up the good stuff as frequently as i used to.. In fact, now I rarely do.. Just do support je. It's primarily due to this. Would I love to share? Sure!.. but once i do and on a public forum like lyn.. it's out there and even silent readers can grab.. So to help a few genuine users, end up ruining a good thing. Worst is that unscrupulous sellers take all our public info and make it as theirs, put on some shitty box and claim miracles.. We get nothing, devs get nothing but instant scrutiny by the authorities, which will lead to a shutdown. Cuz obviously, it's illegal and can't fight it.
