Strange! Normally ads come from apps you installed but I do notice those apps I installed slowly they including ads, some before the movie play. But is okay since is free and even watching Axxtro also full of advertising while watching the channels. Those are paid to watched somemore. LOL laugh.gif

That's an option to change player. it's on the right side of the player screen before you enlarge to full screen. After you press change player>external player> choose the player you wanted to used.

this uktvnow is similar to MOBDRO, likely made by the same people from india.
been around for some time now.
something interesting i noticed... it has the new skysports premier league channel.
we'll see if it will remain as the lawyers are going after these! biggrin.gif

Tried this on my mibox , app crash when trying to play video. Most likely because it's looking for go player as per in setting. For some reason, can't chose other player even though I have mx player, vlc etc installed
*
works fine, whether goplayer or mx or box internal player (if there is one).

i also read in the mibox thread many are saying suddenly can't stream china videos?
there was a problem with unifi some weeks ago but now, all is good.
can stream everything with just google open dns, no need vpn at all.

Yeah! I came that news too. It seems UK are very serious about getting ripped of these TV Boxes and yes! it seems Mibox faces more problems. The geo-restriction from TM seems to be loosen but It might come back in no time. I just hope China VPN will not affect on our side. LOL laugh.gif

The only place to change the player is in the settings for me, maybe it's defaulted to landscape = full screen for android tv. Cause as soon as I click any of the video link, app will crash. No chance to get to the player screen at all.
*
I tried the app on my androidtv... yes, it crashes, won't work... like yr mibox.

Google androidtv is sensitive to certain apps, will even reject installation sometimes.

After so many times and survived, think will be ok.

Whether china block, unifi throttle or quota used up, we are better prepared now. tongue.gif

Tested with official uktvnow app, same result if using the phone /tablet version.

But if using the fire stick and Android box version, app works nicely smile.gif

when they start clamping down on vpn's and "banned sites", u never know what is their definition.

usually the cast net will be big, "get them all"! biggrin.gif

we'll just hv to see what we will see...
