i really do not know why redbox1.2 doesn't work on old boxes anymore when it used to.

it could be similar to why astrogo and unifi playtv apps do not work on some boxes too.

to be sure, u should confirm with users who are using it on their box to be sure.

It should be fine for installation.

Big problem is the small storage in that box, no good for quasar, can do small files only.

And... if yours is androidtv, cant set path to ext hdd.

In short, forget quasar with mibox.

Freeflix, use default player.

Redbox, i find vlc player best.

becos the last txt file is obsolete, not much working, waiting for new txt.

that's the nature of m3u lists - they die, need new one(s).

good txt files are NOT available freely - u need to join some FB groups to get it, get pw.

redbox 1.2 works VERY WELL.

besides mitv dev, u can also get other things, incl code for a ZALTV app m3u list which is pretty useful.

good and free things done by others are rare and to be appreciated.

but only if u hv a good device.

If u read just a couple of posts earlier, i posted a redbox fb message that malaysian section is down for maint.
It will come back, like before.

Redbox is one the most reliable live tv apps, been around quite some time.
Unique it has malaysian section.
Others are not as reliable or does not have anything local or die within weeks.

A tip for u... it works best with vlc player.

Not all links work, they never do... thats normal for these free apps.

Key is to have a few of them so that at least one of them work when u want it to.

The malaysian stuff in redbox is unique, not easy to find same... alternative is astrogo only.

The other stuff, u can try livenettv, freeflix, zaltv.

the providers are getting much better at live streams these days.

many apps incl china ones are usually ok for live sport streams.

problem only during extremely high traffic matches like worldcup, eurocup, finals, etc.

but, have to say... nothing beats ACESTREAM - this is no doubt the best app delivering the best streams in best quality and reliably.

no, not the addon in kodi - that was used before the app came out.

u use reddit as given by ttan, find the link.
(they come out only a few hours before the match, dies a few hours after the match.)
copy and paste as content id in the acestream app.

the app works very well on both android device and pc windows.

it's not more mafan than kodi-plex-acetream-sportsdevil.

and definitely more reliable.

u need mouse to copy and paste from redditsoccer in firefox or some other browser onto acestream input, that's all.

very reliable, 1080p... stuff to die for.

can use astrogo or look up some paid ahem provider.

tv1,2,3,7,8,9 are quite easy to get, in 720 now.

besides new cloudtv, there are others.

thing is these free apps usually do not last long... need fresh or new every 1-2 months.

so, to get good stuff, u gotta keep up, follow...
