Title :  Breaking Bad (season 1, 2, 3, 4,5)

Story :  Breaking Bad is the two-year-long story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer at the beginning of the series. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine, in order to secure his family's financial future before he dies,[7] teaming with his former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).

Player :  XBMC -> 1Channel Addon -> Higly Rated -> choose Season -> choose Episod -> movdivx.com

Internet Speed : 4Mbps Streamyx

Take Note : I found "movdivx.com" is one of the good source, most of the time the streaming is smooth.

To include myself here

Running XBMC for Linux edition currently. The 2 add-ons so far as my favourite are 1Channel and Icefilms. There are others as well, but I'll make these two run first. Have to carefully select the repo as I don't want any xxxx accidentally viewable as my children always looking for their fav animes.

Streamyx 8mbps user I am.

Bro, there are many different sources in 1Channel or Icefilm, pls share the source that you watch smoothly without lagging. This will help others to reduce the searching effort.

Both 1Channel and Icefilm I got it from xbmchub, but I like Icefilm more. For an example sources for any movies I prefer sharing server from 180upload never tried myself other server yet.

Currently playing Avatar 720p HD from that server require just a simple captca, always find that serves offer me lagless streaming most of the time.

Icefilm and Mash Up are the 2 must have add ons. Normally I watch movies and TV shows on Ice films and only those in 720P. If you want to watch 3D Mash Up has some good 3D movies. These 2 channels are more than enough for me.
So far no lagging issues with these channels running HD720 with DTS sound format

As for 1080 I had buffering issues last time but I increase the size for my cache folder (to my HDD - I'm using HTPC for XBMC) the buffering issue reduce and most of the time running smoothly.

To bro Nicety, Can we increase the cache folder size in Q5. In HTPC I did it by enabling the advance setting so that the cache is store in the HDD. Have not try this on Q5 yet (My Q5 is for my 2nd TV and mostly running live TV in NAVI)

P/S Navi is also another must have program add on

Regards

Just to add for TS info, I am very seldom to check by category i.e highly rated, recent added etc. I am using search to look for any title that is recall to my mind biggrin.gif

But I'll try to remember the path correctly If I watched any HD movies lag free and share it here.

Your mean "advancedsettings.xml" setting? If yes, then it is same as HTPC. Refer to the below link :

I found a new clean and simple addon for TV, I feel it is much better than 1Channel and others, no multiple sources just 1 click links and HD shows available.

Try it out, its called TVonline.cc.

mashup are on their own now, no more under xbmchub. The latest update even includes icefilm,so you dont need icefilm separately. Enjoy.....

tq, tq. you are my savior! thumbup.gif

yes, mashup 1.4.0 offers quite a bit more, better organized.

guys n gurls, if u haven't, check it out. be sure to go to mashup settings and add a few more things inside, incl livestream->ilive - this one gives you many live stations of reasonable video quality, a no. of them found in astro like bloomberg and foodnetwork asia! biggrin.gif

QUOTE(nicety @ Jan 29 2014, 02:00 AM)
There are thousands free English movies/TV shows available on the net. However, not all movies are watchable in Malaysia because of few reasons :

1). Slow internet speed cause the movies unable to play smoothly.
Your internet speed bought from unify/streamyx is just last mile, when you stream movies from oversea you do not get the same speed claimed by ISP.

2). Slow content server.
Due to low budget operation, most of the free movies content servers are hosted in low cost shared environment. When the  number of concurrent connection reach certain limit, the streaming start lagging.

3). Streaming Technology
Beside the encoding compression, there is Peer to Peer(P2P) technology available in today market. P2P technology stream the video content from the nearby peer , each peer joining to watch the video is a relay to other peer viewers. Further info about P2PTV -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P2PTV
Streaming from P2P host will be more smooth than none P2P source.

To enjoy free streaming online, some effort is required to search for good movies and the content server. To reduce the search effort, please feel free to share here if you found any good site which is capable to stream smoothly.
