Think yr tv uses own os, can only do what is found in the tv store or marketplace.

Tvs with androidtv os like sharp, sony... can sideload almost any android app.

Samsung TVs are running either Tizen or SmartHub OS..Not Android TV.. You can't sideload Android apps unto it. At least not in the way you think. Get an external device, easier than learning certain programing languages..

unlike in the past... today, u can get a decent working android box that can do all basic and essential functions for <rm120.

free reliable live tv for eng channels are always hard to find.

agree, i dont know why mobdro isnt widely known or used, it is stable, always available and most important free!!

mobdro is well known, been around for a long time.

but it is all SD, some 240, so bad u can't watch them... unless on phone or tablet.

there are many others like it, with some streams in HD.... redboxtv, livenettv, liveplanettv.

this beta, i have tried on several devices.

.. works as it is for himedia Q10pro, tanix tx3mini, tanix tx5max.
.. there is a slight audio delay - audio lags video.
.. display is more complete than the current one.
.. navigation is much the same, need mouse to drag-move sideways.
.. does not work well with androidtv 8.0 (ATV) - video jerks.

still beta, will see if final version will be better.
it is obvious to me astro has no plans to cater to astrogo to be watched on TV - same navigation issues, unapproved for ATV.

meanwhile, better use current v8.2.6 which is smoother.
good news is i think it will work on any unrooted box, less fussy, no need modified versions.
