planning to buy this phone.. ap set from satu gadget.. i read that need to root the phone in order to get app store working?

Anyone here got problem using Waze with this phone. My wife complains waze freezes and sometime voice navigation won't work.

flashing other rom will void the warranty? i wanna buy from 1g or directdee.. but, if flashing rom will void the warranty, then i might worried bout the hardware warranty. cause my friend bought ori p780 from lenovo malaysia, and having problem with his fone. battery problem. still thinking.
