but the smart movie converter i had is kinda unusable..dont know why..so uninstall already

the smart movie converter installed on your computer is used to convert your original movies to a smaller format with lower bitrate and resolution so that it can be played on your symbian phone. I tried throwing a 300mb movie file into my 512mb card but the phone only can play the music and can't play any frames. Video settings:
Landscape
Reduced Frames
Codec: XviD encoder
Bitrate: 160kbps

Audio settings:
Force Mono
Frequency: 32000 Hz
Bitrate: 64kbps
Codec: Lame MP3
Volume boost: 180%

thx...but i found out tat different videos perform differently in various bitrates...some dont lag in 256kbps while some need as low as 144kbps...

it uses its own file format,and own converter(duh..)
i cant use it on my 3230-not supported...

3230??? then u should really try Mobile Media Maker from Makayama... Just use the converter and for playback use SmartMovie player or DVDPlayer for Series 60...

if i convert a 20 min show,how big is the file?my rs mmc only 32 mb.. nobody selling cheap 256/512 cards...

now you can get it very cheap lerr...if you can wait for the next pc fair then it would be even cheaper...rs-mmc 256mb only RM100-150...

And rs-mmc 512mb nowadays can get around RM180-RM200...

now no money lar...

rm200 for me is alot of money...

Can Nokia 6670 use 1GB RSMMC?

It is not recomended to use such high capacity memory card because even NOKIA 6680/6681 only can support up to 512mb memory card only, so I don't think NOKIA 6670 can read/write suzh high capacity memory card flawlessly.
