Its always best to extract .zip, .ace & .rar files on your PC first. You can do this with a PC application such as WinZip or WinRar, or on the phone itself using the ZipMan application...

i know how to convert .mp3 to .wav
but i just need to know a program that can personalize my ringtone (ie, when my mum call me, it has different tone)

i cant find this setting on the phone so i assume it needs a program to run on it.

It's in the contacts. To set this go to that person contacts to set specific ringtones...

how 2 use winzip extract .rar?
zipman i tried...din work on the file...still da same cannot open

.rar is only for winrar lah brother

Winzip can also open .rar la brother...

Actually both WinZip and WinRAR can open each other files... bother brother...

Please... I don't want to see any discussion on downloading N-gage games or how to play them on other S60 devices since it is clearly an illegal practice... This also applies to general warez or cracks... i finally figured out how to personalize my ringtone.. (my bad cuz nv explore the phone properly)

but now how do i choose my own ringtone? the ringtone format that my phone has is .mid and .awb... which i find .awb are rather more realistic than .mid..

so anyone can tell me what program that can convert .mp3 or .wav to .awb?

after converting which folder should i put the file into so when i choose my ringtone, the file is there?

I lookin' forward to buy a symbian phone... perhaps a N6260.
Support additional software like dictionary, flash player, etc?
I want to know what kind of useful software or apps to enhance it...

can anyone please help me...i'm using 7610 and i save all my messages to the mmc card memory... now i wan to reformat my memory card cos there is too many rubbish inside...but i wan to keep the messages.. is there anyway for me to transfer the msg to somewherE?i tried to backup using pc suite.. but it backups the whole mmc memory... i just wan to keep the msges.. please help.. please

u mark all the message,then option then move to folder,then yor're done!
