Overkill for me la sweat.gif
Thinking of something more simple like k501lx or my be g501.

See the pricing of the skylake version of current laptops first then will decide smile.gif

The ghost pro is obviously flawless though. So light yet so powerful!

Slap in GTX and call it a gaming laptop...

Same chassis as pavilion i don't think it can handle the heat with one fan it seems. But lets wait and see.

A little over RM4k bud. It is HP brand they are known for premium pricing. I know because i own 2 HP laptop biggrin.gif

If they sell it lower than RM4k i'll be surprise.

Its not just the ROG series. Its a major problem with ASUS laptops nowadays. Bought an ASUS laptop a few years back and the speakers are loud and clear till today but the current sound and hw quality just sucks. Most of the ASUS laptops here at my college starts crackling and all that at full volume. On a different note, I have no battery issues on my GL552JX.

If youre looking for sound quality, go with MSI like damn so loud and crisp.

Acer Nitro coming soon

http://www.ultrabookreview.com/8337-acer-skylake-laptops/

QUOTE
Acer’s Skylake lineup is rolling out in the next few weeks and as expected, the Taiwanese manufacturer is updating most of its popular series to the latest Intel hardware platform while also launching several brand new models.

This post will take you through the important Acer Skylake laptops that will be available in stores from the 4th quarter of 2015 onwards. There’s a wide range of devices for you to choose from, starting with the portable Aspire R13, V13, or the Switch 12 2015 hybrids, and all the way up to the new Acer Predator gaming machines. Follow the links in each section for our more detailed reviews as we test these products, or for potential discounts (if you find any of these worth your hard earned buck).

You should also check out this post about that explains what Skylake is all about as well as  our list of the best available portable laptops of the moment, which is the best place to start the search for your next ultraportable.
