Yeah, I called them to book my 10K service and they gave me earliest 13th April!.. lol...
Btw any other Service Centre which is good other than the PJ one? I am thinking either Semangat Anggun Klang or the Puchong one... any remarks on these 2 Service Centre?

Black color is actually awesome color, but on the road you don't see much impressive black car. I think is because lack of maintenance, or rather, hard to take care of.

by the way i heard black and white are equally hard to take care of, not sure if this is true.

By the Customer Service line. The SDAC PJ's service centre line is hopeless as most often I won't get through to the number even after trying for more than 10 minutes. I have to send a message to the branch manager to have them call me back.

The warranty thing is indeed very sketchy. From my conversation with the customer service, I was informed the warranty is 3 years/60,000km whichever comes first. But after I told the guy that mine is 5 years/100,000km, he then asked when I bought my car. He then acknowledged that cars bought after September 2012 are entitled to 5 years/60,000km warranty while those bought earlier are entitled to 3 years/60,000km warranty. Don't know whether it is true but all I know is the warranty is 5 years and not 3 years.

As for the wipers and brake pads warranty claim, will find out soon when either one wears out. According to one of my colleagues who owns the Ford Focus TDCI, the service advisor at SDAC PJ actually advised him to claim on the wipers FOC as the warranty on my colleague's car is going to expire. His warranty is 3 years as he bought the car sometime in 2009 or 2010. He didn't even know that he can claim on the wipers free of charge from the service centre.

Also, there was once when the service centre gave him a free battery even though the warranty on his car had expired long ago. A long story on this but he was really impressed with the PJ service centre.

I guess you are driving the Focus hatchback. The Continental MC5 does not come in 205/60R16. Good to hear that the ride is more comfortable. The MC5 is supposed to be a soft and comfortable tyre.

It is good that the Focus Sports hatchback comes in 215/50R17 which is a more common tyre where the size is more readily available. Unlike 205/60R16 which most tyre brands do not have. 205/60R16 is not available for Michelin PS3, and Continental MC5 also does not come in this size.

Too bad can't experience either the Michelin PS3 and Continental MC5 on the Focus sedan.

Is the MC5 good in handling? Usually quiet and comfortable tyres don't do too good in handling but if you don't often drive enthusiastically then that should not matter.

Has anybody got a message on your display "Key Battery Low, Replace Soon"? I got this message this morning, so I changed to the spare remote. Surprisingly, the spare remote also showed the same message when I started the engine. Coincidentally both remotes are low in battery, which is weird.

Will need to check with the service centre later. I presume we can only change the battery of the remote at the service centre and reset the electronics?

is it true that the new tcm update will result in reduced accelerating power?

Did any of you guys managed to request new brake pads, new wipers or anything else during the last free service (6th service)? Will they change for you if the brake pads or wipers are still in moderately good condition?

I presume the brake pads, wipers or other stuff will not be replaced free of charge after the final 6th (free) service?

Would like to check. This is the snapshot that I have taken from Google Maps. The Ford Trip Mantap service centre at Melawati Ampang is supposed to be in the image below, but instead of a Ford service centre, all I see is a Peugeot centre in the background.

Can anyone advise if this image from Google Maps is an old one and not updated? The Ford service centre is supposed to show in this picture isn't it?
