i am using bit comet the newest version (0.84) i move my download task into recycle bin but i cseem cannot find it... where should i search for it because i wan to put it back into my dl task.. and it seems unable to open the torrent as it say "task already exits"

after i port forward my bitcomet i realize my connection become very unstable. my dl apeed reach till around 50kb/s then after a while will suddenly drop back to 0kb/s and i cant surf any website during that period and it happend around every 5min. at the first time i thought is the streamyx problem but someone tell me maybe is the router or modem cannot cope with my Bitcomet. is it true? can i fix this problem?

BTW, i using 1mb package but the top dl speed i can get just around 40~50k izit normal or what should i do to improve it?

May I ask, how to set the yellow line to green line to past the traffic.
Lately BitComet pretty slow , I don't know that TMNet started their throttle or not.

I don't know how to set because I just use Windows Vista Ultimate few day ago.
Different very big compare to windows XP.
If can please teach me how to port forward using vista.

I think my connection slow down already even validating the genuine windows version also take me a period to download the file.

is it compulsary to do port forwarding will it affact my other application.. msn, BF2142 etc?

My BitComet 0.84 crashed at least 5 times this weekend, do you think I should try the older version? Can I just install the old one or will I have to uninstall the new one first?

To revived the actual connection speed did I really need to change my routher?
And BitComet 0.84 mostly detect peer come from BitComet 0.82,0.84 and uTorrent 1.6.0,1.6.1. and seldom from other.

If you're behind a network that you're able to configure for BitComet, you should see none or very few NAT Traversal connections. If you're seeing a large amount of NAT Traversal connections or only Local and NAT Traveral connections (no Remotes), something may be blocking your TCP traffic, so see steps 1 & 2 here. BitComet may also be incorrectly detecting your need for NAT Traversal, so ensure the following option is Disabled:

Options > Preferences > Advanced > Connection > "Use NAT Traversal via UDP" [DISABLE]

i've tried downloading it a few times from download.com but the file won't work.... i wonder what is wrong... haih

finally manage to portforward my office's router... not bad at all da download speed... so far no problem with 0.84... just cant seem to keep da tab setting... i mean da preview n comment tab...

under peers -> initiation.... wats da different between NAT transverse, remote n local... which 1 will give da highest download...

coz im getting higher download rate from remote peers...

anyway can I view my half downloaded movie?No more seed,so the movie stuck at 80%..can i view the movie..?

nope u cant, coz the movie is not dled from beginning to end, they dl randomly.

if lucky maybe u can view first 30sec-1min show.

notice the initiation collum there showing remote,NAT Traversal and local as well,3 huh ?

is this normal or what ? i though should be only remote and local ?

erm..so far only see like 2 to 3 NAT Traversal appear on my initiation

the rest all either remote or local,but remote seem to be more =P

I did turn my windows firewall off and I didn't install any others firewall software. only "Local" appear on my initiation column, cant see any "Remote". why?

i was downloading some series movie on BitComet 0.82

the speed was stuck around 30k below,sometime even stay around 15k

but when i change to BitComet 0.84,boom straight shoot up to 53k

I have a situation here. My friend is using bitcomet to download, it seems jam others network for internet browsing. Is there anyway to solve this problem, exp, change some setting at bitcomet
I using Dlink dsl 604T with the new firmware.V1.00B02T02.MA.20050303.

I not sure what version he is using. If there is version which doesn't affect the bandwith, plz kindly share with me.

I tried to use the .79... previously used the .70
and now reverting back to .70 since:
takes less RAM, and I think i prefer the simplicity of it...

0.81 is as fast as 0.70? 

after few days of observation... manage to found out some problem after correctly doing portforward for my office router and my home wireless router... in da office can get crazy speed, almost nearing 120kpbs constant for a few minutes but my internet surfing suffers... da same thing if i limit at 150/30 with or without DHT.... at home suffer few disconnection due to modem n router heating up... does anybody suffer from sudden disconnection... at home only solution is to put fan to cold down da modem n router... da problem is how to optimize my office configuration... im using dlink dsl 500t in da office... anybody can help...

so how about if my pc gonna restart by it self??

i think bitcomet can't to start automatically 

but then iianm the versions after .80 is not as 'good' as .70 rite? as in:

- download speed
- stability
- especially the changes in context menu

the context menu @ .79 itself is a bit more complicated than .70 imo..
.70 seems easier to use...

about the auto recycle memory function... izzit something that need to enable it to use or built in ?

Cos im getting 1.4gig from my Bitcomet eventho im downloading from just few peers that wouldnt exceed 100 (after the tmnut throttle) and download speed of maximum 20k...
