*

(right click on [my computer] choose [manage])

QUOTE(ruztynail @ Nov 2 2006, 02:25 AM)

I wonder it's the interface prob or some other bug(s) or just slow in response... I have that prob 1 or 2 times after I installed 0.75 and reverted back sweat.gif

hey guyz my bitcomet seems to take up all my bandwith.. can't even use IE or MSN while torrenting.. what's the prob? using .65 Stable..
*
may i know what is ur upload speed? and what is ur max half-open tcp connections value? try to set it at a lower value see how? smile.gif

(another thing u can try is set the priority of bitcomet to a lower standard than Normal at ur task manager)

QUOTE(sentro2020 @ Nov 6 2006, 10:30 AM)
just a question ... do i need to set the priority to :

1) normal
2) high ??

will it affect my speed ?
*
in BC, it won't affect the speed so much as tat's normally for which task u wish to finish it sooner (if u hav more than 1 task running), the speed mainly depends on the seeders/leechers smile.gif

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Nov 6 2006, 05:39 PM)
haha, you heard who say this??
i still in throttle even using v0.75

look like tmnets will not remove their traffic shaping device
we are still living in hell yet!!!

hope there newer version where it can bypass this Deep packet inspection

from the web tongue.gif (from other countries)

QUOTE(Tainted @ Nov 7 2006, 01:10 AM)
Not sure whether I can ask my question here, but since that I'll be using BitComet so I hope it's OK.

I like to download the funny program by Jacky Wu,a Taiwanese Program called 齐天大圣,I've tried searching using BitComet but it seems I can't find it.. Any ways to download this program?
*
to b frank... I hav never used the search function in BC sweat.gif
I always use google to look out wat I want, best way to search for something icon_rolleyes.gif

eh a question for you guys with 0.7, you guys got the boxed characters as shown? damnit I smell spyware sad.gif
*
wat u meant "boxed characters"??? I can't see anything "shown" blink.gif

QUOTE(akachester @ Nov 8 2006, 11:41 PM)
Well, i still dont rate the v0.75 as stable version.Still prefers the 0.70.Anyway, i still see that many people are sticking to the 0.70 rather than moving towards the newer version.Unless the 0.76 is declared as stable like the 0.70, i dont think many people will start to shift...
*
QUOTE(nckent @ Nov 9 2006, 12:28 AM)
tat's y i suggest ppl who is using 0.75 (not 0.70 tongue.gif) go 4 0.76
btw 0.70 still d most stable version nw smile.gif
*
still waiting for ppl's comment(s) on 0.76... will only upgrade if it's really stable, just hope they can improve faster by adding functions in 0.70 to 0.76 rolleyes.gif

better uninstall it, clear everything and reinstall a fresh version

http://download.bitcomet.com/achive/BitComet_0.70_setup.exe

for new version 0.76 just change the number in the url smile.gif

edited*
still don't hav task priority and pause in 0.76 yet... I like tat function as I can use them to rearrange the queue after adding all the torrents smile.gif

the move up and down taking too much time sweat.gif

yea, when time goes on the resources taken increases (although it will stop at a range, but it still looks shocking by the value sweat.gif)

btw, there is no user specified upload slots in 0.76??

hey got new version? the bitcomet got 1 pop up telling me about new version.... anyone know is what?
*
latest version is 0.76 only, and it's been released only 1 week ago sweat.gif

I reverted back to 0.70 again, couldnt stand seeing so much resources used, 0.70 only taken half of it than 0.76 shakehead.gif (dl speed same for me, just connection may b a bit slower compare to 0.76)

how to change the IP address ah? it is useful to change the ip address?
*
blink.gif ur WAN IP is dynamic and always changes whether u reconnect to streamyx or any ISP (however, ur LAN IP is fixed as wat u hav set)

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Nov 14 2006, 06:47 AM)
you didnt notice that there a "[inaba]19410" beside that ip??
and also [圣域雪狼][1156] beside the 2nd attachment
*
I think tat's what we hav been wondering about earlier the "Not Logged In" icon at the bottom bar (as I read somewhere tat function is supported at China area)

oh? didn't notice tat tho... but I changed back to 0.70 again (due to can't stand the large mem usage, twice the size of 0.70... sweat.gif )

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Nov 15 2006, 12:04 PM)
maybe for VIP purposes? doh.gif, IMO... i used to use BC, now switch to µTorrent because i can get higher d/loading speed on µTorrent compared to BC wink.gif
*
my bt dl won't work well with utorrent tho... the speed not stable (always up and down sad.gif)... unlike my bc 0.70 can run steadily at 55k+

I changed from bitcomet to utorrent. Surprisingly seeing faster 10x. Bitcomet I download only around 5kB/s, while on utorrent will be around 50kB/s.  shocking.gif

But once I letting my utorrent run, my I.E, MSN, Firefox all very slow. What is the best advice to limit the download speed for every client?
*
either limit ur download, limit the number of task(torrent) u r downloading each time, limit the upload speed... just adjust the speed/connection issues in the setting of the client then see how it affects
