please do that and then go and see what software version you have.. 4.2.2? or 4.4.2?
*
It's definitely not 4.4.2 since its only 70Mb And if I remember correctly the ota screen will say it's app update or new is version where most likely it's the app update only.

It's a HKG, got it from satugadgetdotcom.
*
So far most HKG G2 don't have KK yet. Dunno why so late releasing for HKG. Just wait patiently la or just use kdz to go KK if you don't need root.

lets say im using clouidstock 1.2 now. if i wanna update to 1.3, do i need to wipe off everything? can i just update just like that without wiping off any of my data and apps ?

1 of his FAQ
How can I change to that ROM?
- If you already running this ROM, you only need to download that ROM and flash it via recovery (full wipe first)

plz advice. thanks
*
Just do a dirty flash and use it.

If no problem then continue use as normal.

If you found weird problems then boot to recovery do a factory reset.

That's how I always do it when flashing Roms with same base. Good luck !

A question to those updated via kdz. The status in download mode is rooted, even though you did not root.

For those who received OTA, can you confirm whether you have the same problem?
*
IIRC, someone from the German forum contacted LG about this as well. LG rep replied that status may have invalid value. So don't worry about it and this will be at our advantage for warranty claim tongue.gif , can say after flash KK the status become rooted so warranty won't void ahhaa

nope, all stock.. cant be placebo.. i started charging at 10 o clock with 15%.. at 12 oclock only got 85%.. usually it will be very fast..
*
i've been observing the phone behavior during charging state. It does seems to have a few charging state that causes different charge time. Using the same phone, same charger, same cable, same power outlet i've observed these :
1) Fast situation - 5% - 100 % takes around 1h 40m
2) Normal situation - 5% - 100% takes around 2h 15m +-
3) Slow situation - 5% - 100% takes around 4h to 5h

however, I still cannot identify what triggers these situation. Most of the time i get situation no 1.

I'm guessing the battery charging may have an algorithm to correct or maintain battery health with the slow charge once in a while .. haha

How to use this xposed? Is it an app to install or need to flash it ? Any link?
*
you can get all info about xposed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401

xposed basically a framework for mods, you will need to install xposed framework then install the modules that you want to use

does the nova launcher drain a lot of battery ? because i'm using "Themer" and it drains a lot battery
*
Have been using Nova Prime for few years now, it has become my go to launcher for any phone that i use. Didn't notice any drain at all due to Nova. Though, I would say for G2 stock launcher animation is smoother than Nova but not enough to discourage me to leave Nova as its much more customizable.
