funny that i believe costar should have less spacebar compatibility issue compared to cherry stabs.
hmm...i'm not sure what else can be done, other than making sure the inserts are really pushed in, the |_| thing are placed properly, lube the contact point, make sure the metal bars are properly seated, and finally making sure the whole spacebar is properly seated.

btw, did u try putting the spacebar flat on the floor and see if it's warped?

One thing I can confirm: I won't wait anymore once month end is here haha.
Will try the wax, though I've used a laptop for 4 years+ then changed to another laptop for around 2 years before getting my current desktop and never experienced shiny keys before, beginning to suspect that my typing is still considerably gentle compared to you guys lololol.

Other aftermarket also got this. RGB or RGBY modifiers.
Some are expensive and rare such as gmk, some cheap as dirt like those in taobao.

Do you look at your keyboard while typing?
Typing speed ~100wpm is considered fast. Most of people here are slower than you.

So, a fugly products with no qc. 
I think blank should be ok. No ugly fonts.
Taobao got gmk, or other god tiers modifiers too.

As I suspected, this is what it looks like, because I saw this in real life for the first time yesterday in office, on my colleague's Dell keyboard. I've been using my current keyboard at home(non-mechanical) for a bit over 3 months now and no sign of shiny keycaps yet, will see if it remains the same end of this month.
I'm a programmer and I'm only at average 70wpm.

But many people who only buy 1 keyboard and settled.
Some of them just simply want to replace membrane keyboard but not really interested to go even further.
