lol. That's called being a proper student of language starting from primary school onward. Which sadly, people seems to forgotten nowadays. Even in their daily, professional tasks.

To be honest, TS opening post was littered with grammatical errors. It could be due to nerves, reminiscing back "her" crush on the high school jock.

A history buff, I see

Books have the advantage of having closures

Most of the time, anyway

Well, as they say, "Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it".
Each generation we may live a little longer and know a little more, but we are still bound by the same base desires as our forebears.
In between posting and sharing funny pictures of cats, I suppose having time for a book aids in contemplation and self-reflection

Even if I read two books a day I don't think I will fall for someone who has such specific expectations on her partner.

Besides I figure you must be a really boring person with too much to say about yourself.

I'll give you the "no mention of English", but surely in context, your somewhat patronizing follow up seems to include the use of English no?

Just a thought!

Interestingly enough, I never knew we had a "Book Club" sub-forum until I stalked the threads TS has previously opened. laugh.gif

I read a lot but I don't write as much

If it's not an exam and the idea was understood

I think it's okay for conversational English

I'm patronizing him mentioning about using "proper capitalization and punctuation" to refer to her as a "bookworm".
Capitalization and punctuation is a standard feature covering many languages using roman letters, no? Not just exclusive to English.

When I wrote that I am also addressing the rempit style of Malay as well, hence the use of language rather than English.
