Hi guys,

I've just rooted my note3 and now was thinking to update my note3 to the latest m'sia stock firmware ( PDA: N9005XXUDMJ7 CSC: N9005OLBDML1) from sammobile using MOP to flash.

So am I safe to flash this version of firmware without tripping KNOX and retain root using MOP. Please kindly advise. Thanks!!

***By the way right now this is my note3 firmware version:

- AP: N9005XXUDML2

- CP: N9005XXUDMJ7

- CSC: N9005OLBDMK2

Mine also same. It hangs every other day. Still looking around for the cheapest ori S view case.!!

if wanna move kitkat and keep my contact... what should i do?

unroot it with kingo and update as retail can work?

even with MOP? i tot update bootloader will trip Kn0x when root?

I am on rooted MJ7 using CFAutoroot.. how to go back to enable me to receive the kitkat OTA? Anyone know?

My phone keep restarting after been updated to kitkat. Haihhh

One stupid question from me again... so lets say I'm rooted (without tripping kn0x) at 4.3 at the moment...

then I flash to Kit Kat via MOP into download mode to avoid the boot loader update then use PC Odin to flash the Kit Kat stock rom as mentioned in the first page, post 9, "FLASHING KITKAT OFFICIAL ROM WITH MOP WITHOUT TRIPPING KNOX"...

will I still have my phone rooted?

You upgrade to Kit Kat through OTA? Can you read and write on your external memory card?

after the update.... the only things i notice in visual changes is when i use pattern unlock the screen, the line is thinner... text thinner as well. thats it.. what else improvement ?

i want to flash kitkat official rom WITH root WITHOUT tripping knox, so first page punya instructions boleh pakai?
that link in the instruction to the full rom in mega.co.nz is malaysian or polland rom?

anyways wanam still not workin fully ah? my battery and clock colour can't change, some parts in the notification panels colours also can't change.

Since this OTA update got problem i think Samsung pull back the update maybe. I just tried OTA update for both of my Note 3 just now. There is no update already. Yesterday still can update but i canceled it.
