Subaru is fixing the wind-noice for XV, finally someone from Subaru response to me and said they are "testing" the solution on another XV and will call me in to fix my car later stage. Finally can reduce the noice! Will update here after fixed.

Hi, what's the latest development about this wind noise? Tq

I used to hate the looks of subaru. But until I owned a legacy wagon while living abroad I finally learn to look beyond aesthetics and appreciate the performance.
*
Fully agreed, for those who has not driven a Subie would not know the difference!!
For me look is secondary performance, stability and safety comes first. when I drove the Forrestor I was taken in !!
Superb handling !!

I have test drive a Forrestor, totally amazed by it. Was a very wet day when I test drive. Paddled to 130km/h yet still feel rock stable on curve.

I wish the price could be slightly lower. In oversea Forrestor and other SUV like CRV are actually put on par and having direct competition!
*
Yup! I think its the agent company that jack up the price...no ?
With such a high tech car I do not understand why their advertising department won't capitalize on it !!
Maybe Tan Chong wouldn't want an extra competition .

With the raining season now full swing I really love my Forrestor, so sure footed in its road holding ...sticking like leeches
... its indeed a 'drivers car'. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the explanation.
So servicing it is like some Japanese made car.  thumbup.gif

Yeah, I concern about the parts after the warranty or maybe warranty void.  sweat.gif
*
In 5 years time there would be many parts available simply because many xv running around.
AE is another good Subaru servicing center !!

Hi guys, where to get brake pads for our XV? i just changed the brake pads for the front tyre at Section 51 MI for RM 640. That is way too expensive! Hopefully we get cheaper options when the time comes to change the brake pads for my back tyres.

Brake pads shown in the attached pic are of the old front brake pads.
