I actually kinda thinking to forfeit my booking fee.

The upcoming fuel price subsidy changes is concerning. XV is a 1995cc vehicle where you have to pay RM2.80 per Liter. I travel a lot for work, this is gonna hurt. Come to think of it, even my old car is also 2.0Lso either way is still bad.

Just take as a pinch of salt as this is just preliminary information. Nothing is confirmed now.

I think this system is just stupid. A Ford Kuga with 1.6 Ecoboost can be eligible for cheaper fuel while an XV doesnt because it is 2.0, even though Ford Kuga is a more powerful and expensive full fledged SUV. Not to mention a new Golf 1.5 fuel is subsidized but an old 2.0 Proton Perdana isnt. I might put a Viva under my IC and XV is registered to my mum so that I can pump cheaper fuel into my XV with my own IC.

It just doesnt make sense in enforcing it properly and fairly. Might be another white elephant.

Based on the table, all foreign cars are not eligible no? If that's true, then the CC doesn't matter.

I think that means that cars with foreign number plate.

If all foreign cars cant, regardless of number plate, then ,this is even more ridiculous.

Well, Japs, specifically Nissan already has a 40kg 1.4L engine that packs 400bhp where they will use it in the upcoming Le Man's race. No turbo required. Probably will be on the road in 2-3 years time. Consumer version will probably be 1.0L and thats more than enough.

Isnt there rumors where Subaru is also working on a boxer engine that is similar to that? If I am not wrong, all the Jap manufacturers just signed an alliance to make engines that are 30% more efficient by 2020.

It is an outdated law even before implementation as large CC doesnt mean its a powerful car these days. Ford also just announced a concept version of Ford Mondeo(something like an Impreza sedan) that runs on a 1L engine in a full size sedan, using advanced composites to reduce weight.

I know exactly what you mean. For my previous FXT I bought Silver as well. Then when kena accident at front corner, I resprayed the whole thing dark gray.

That's why this time I went straight for the dark gray.

I think I am going with Black instead with my XV. No more Blue as its only in 2013 model. The discount isnt much too.

Just curious why the BRZ are so expensive when overseas are priced at around 100k myr? SUpposely it should be price above than the local swift sport price right around 150k ish and not 240 plus? (SS is 100k for manual) shakehead.gif

Import tax that literally doubled the price. It is made in Japan, if I am not wrong.
