QUOTE(dotaallstarz @ Jan 25 2014, 11:15 PM) well its down too.. how much they want him.. since they try to play bargain game.. lfc offer more chance on the field compare to Chelsea time on the bench It's still boil down to how much money liverpool willing to fork out. The delay is due to Basel is waiting for liverpool improved offer as Salah wants to enjoy first team ball and Anfield is his first choice. Basel's wait for liverpool was out of respect for the player to give final chance to liverpool. If liverpool still don't want to do anything about it. I would say, FSG is just nothing like old greedy american who just want to milk money out of liverpool instead of improving the club. I hope i can eat crow, but it doesn't seem like it.

I hate greedy players who taunt clubs for money. Perform, then get what you deserve. Look at Luis. Money was never going to be in question. If you offer him bench time and alot of money, he'll be furious. I always agree with BR's policy of looking for hungry players who have strong desire for the game rather than just for the money.

James Pearce:
The club’s transfer committee put a value on targets which won’t be exceeded. If the price goes too high Liverpool walk away.
The desire not to pay over the odds is admirable but the reality is that the Reds are in a position where they simply have to take risks. If you stand still, you get left behind.
Qualifying for the Champions League yields a predicted £40million pay day. Coughing up a few extra million now could look like a small price to pay come the summer.

QUOTE(lerijiso @ Jan 26 2014, 05:15 AM) Supposedly we came back with an improved offer. Not sure if it's true we now tabled £18.5m (which I think it's nonsense) I still think m salah much prefer to have join us instead of sitting on Jose's expensive bench. Though if the rumour of £18.5m (I'm pretty sure it's exaggerated or else why the hell did we not confirm/conclude earlier & save more ..? ) Not wanting to jump to much into the reported figure. We certainly require reinforcement in the midfield. Even a supposedly lost cause (this season) in manu, has stake their muscle/intention to not lose at least 4th placing without a fight a heavyweight (epl & CL proven player) signing
