QUOTE(markblurberry @ Jan 20 2014, 11:45 PM) What's worse, those who talk c**k in the star column..i bet those dint even know about their club..but bragging away like d**k head, in fact manure thread is a mess..total meltdown...their usual rant for the moyesy to be sack...this player cannot, that player cannot...no world class player is attracted to their club anymore...I personally felt, they can no longer buy their way to success, at most they can spend 50-60 million before it hits glazer...as such a long term manager is in place to rebuilt, albeit will take time...and long may they take their time...hahaha.... Tell me about it. I feel sick to the bone everytime I see their comments. Even so called "Liverpool fans" like a certain Elizabeth Lee goes ranting bullshit week in week out. Others have worse command of English than my 6 year old nieces. But as for Man Utd, I feel for Moyes. He has a better starting track record than Ferguson in his first 30 games in charge. And six points off the champions league spot is not a total disaster. I feel they want success too early too fast after an exit of manager like Sir Alex. But again, what do we expect of glory hunters. This post has been edited by Chew Yongxian: Jan 21 2014, 01:16 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jan 20 2014, 03:35 PM) First goal, Gerrard did track back Weimann, but ball watching afterwards in six yard area, instead looking on the man. Why the FB were so obviously poor to me is that as early as the period with Flanno (and Johnson earlier in the season) there are always 2 persons covering both wings. I would always see both fullbacks and Lucas (or a MF) covering the sides to prevent crosses coming in.Under BR, as far as I noticed, FB has license to roam up the field, while DM is the one to cover, if the FB not manage to track back. Second goal, cannot blame Johnson entirely, as Mignolet did come out to punch, which might distract the view and anticipation by Johnson, while Johnson did the right thing to be in front of Benteke (whenever cross come in defender should always in front of attacker), it is the open goal that left by Mignolet, that enable Benteke to have a simple header in. So GK should share the bulk of the blame on second goal. Having said that, it is poor team performance as a whole on first half, which if not their finishing was not clinical enough, Liv might 0-3, or 0-4 down on first half. The poor performance could due to poor/wrong tactic deployed and wrong personnel. The team was playing good flowing football previous few matches generally, but due to tactical change and personnel change, the whole team looked disjointed. Defence still rather poor, this season hardly get many clean sheet, even against relegation teams also conceded. Apart against Spurs 5-0, and early season 3 matches 1-0, I cannot remember any clean sheet. Alredi we know LFC are somewhat more prone to crosses (either Mignolet was acting like old David James or Skrtel is a penalty waiting to happen with his Hulk approach), hence they should try to do a better job at covering the wings. That said I'm do not know what BR is thinking but I do at least feel good that he is willing to chop and change if things dont go well (can't imagine if it was Roy or Kenny if they would do so). QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Jan 20 2014, 03:52 PM) and most of the time... he just check his run.... not willing to drive further up or try crossing... grr!! TO add to the point above both FBs were so poor at going forward. They should have just stayed back and pressure the wings instead. I can't remember even Johnson putting in a cross in this game (at home some more).I think short of replacing our FBs with a rock (as someone mentioned QUOTE(Chew Yongxian @ Jan 21 2014, 01:14 AM) Tell me about it. Just read it for entertainment and move on. Our attention span are short and we'll be talking bout the next game anyway later. But as for Man Utd, I feel for Moyes. Read and move on.Regarding our unfortunate fullbacks, and despite how I feel for Southampton at their current predicament, I do hope we snag Luke Shaw and have a proper promising fullback. |

Can't compare track records like that...Ferguson took over a shit club and made them great. Moyes on the other hand inherited a BPL Champion squad, of course their fans expect big things. But as for Man Utd, I feel for Moyes. But its worth noting that Ferguson left Moyes with a dying/ageing squad as well..lol. Poor old Moyesy. Anyway...sympathy for Moyes, none for UTD..they had this coming. |

The only spark so far is Januzaj, but even so I still feel he is over rated. But yeah, had an absolute ton of fun hammering the man utd supporting friends I have on FB. But its worth noting that Ferguson left Moyes with a dying/ageing squad as well..lol. Poor old Moyesy. Anyway...sympathy for Moyes, none for UTD..they had this coming. Back to Liverpool, no news on transfers so far. I hope they can sign up Luke Shaw and Saleh. Draxler would be a bonus. XD Nice siggy btw. Mind if I steal? |
