Thanks for you answer.
May I ask 1 more question ?
This rims really match with this 2nd generation vios ? I like it. but I was scared that is not match.  cry.gif  cry.gif
*
matching is very objective, and depends on each individual preference.

but sticking back to stock rims are wise as it doesn't affect the car initial design dynamics.

yes car is light weigh = fast respond
you should try at high speed corners & downhill like genting or ipoh to penang after tunnel.

best regards
Low
*
fast response doesn't ties directly with light body, its the chassis and suspension setup.

on and off and i whack corners at the route to Titi, mountain winding roads. but not on my Vios... laugh.gif

seriously, no joke on the car stability... the ass swings like hell.

bro, just drive safe.

QUOTE(avdnowhere @ May 19 2015, 08:37 AM)
guys, any ideas how to repair scratch rear bumper?
my rear bumper got scratch, I think someone did it.  vmad.gif
the scratch quite long, almost 50cm, the paint was peel off, I can see the black plastic. cry.gif
do I need to repaint again? how much ya the cost?
*
how old/new is your car?

do take note that older car would have degraded paintjob. this means if you cut touch up the 50cm scratch line, it will create 2-tones colour shade.

Its advisable to go with full bumper paintjob.

Of course, if your car is still new with well maintained paintjob; just touching up should be sufficient.

however, 50cm scratch line is really long... i guess spraying the whole bumper vs touchUp would more or less cost the same... sweat.gif

on average, spraying a whole bumper would cost around RM200-300.

hope this help.

thanks sifu..  notworthy.gif
I just bought the car last December, 3rd gen..  laugh.gif
btw RM200-300 only for rear bumper?
I am planning to repaint both bumper, front and rear..
how long ya usually take it for repaint?
*
why you wanna waste money to spray front bumper as well?

QUOTE(avdnowhere @ May 19 2015, 08:55 AM)
wah, quite long yah..
last time my sister repaint all her car body also took around 5-6 days..  laugh.gif
thanks anyway..  nod.gif
*
it depends on the workshop availability one.

last time my kenari, stay 1 overnight at P2 workshop, sprayed 4 parts:
1. front bumper
2. rear bumper
3. both side skirts
4. rear door after plastic cover removal

ohh.. okay, if overnight then okay, not so long..  thumbup.gif
btw can I repaint it at toyota sc?
*
as i mentioned earlier on, it depends on the workshop availability.

mine was insider job, hence the quick delivery.

Hi, I just bought a new Vios J 2015 last month. Very newby in this problem..Need advises on these:

1) How much is the cost for 1st time service? What actually needed to be changed?
2) How much is the cost for normal service  after that? What normally actually needed to be changed?
3) Staying in Gombak...Which service centre is highly recommended?

List of parts/items with price would be good...

Thanks in advance...

Toyota Malaysia has upgraded or revamped their website for owners of Toyota vehicles.  rclxms.gif
Registered users can see complete details of their vehicle service records, exactly like the printed bill.  sad.gif
However, there is no more the Toyota forum where owners can talk anything about Toyota vehicles. perhaps too hot for them to handle complaints ?
check it put at www.mytoyota.com.my.

Hi everyone. Do you know where to get a reasoanable spare part price for vios 1st edition? Im looking for the following
1. Front spring
2. Front absoarber
3. Disk rotor
4. Windscreen
I know ori one will hv crazy price. At least if anyone here ever used 3rd party brand, please share with me.
*
1. Front spring - why are you looking for front spring? spring rarely "spoil" actually.
2. Front absoarber - try source for APM Performax, cheap and good quality
3. Disk rotor - just opt for skimming if its thickness still allowed
4. Windscreen - just opt for repair if possible

hope this helps.

I'm not yet own Vios.. But after reading Vios forum, these 3 items I heard most people complain about.
I just want to know whether all these 3 have been resolved in latest batch.
Otherwise, like root noise. After dismantle and apply the additional sponge, will you get more noise.
*
its just 3-4 slices of hollow sponge.

it only reduce the noise mildly, not an effective dampening mat.

so, don't expect a miracle outcome~ laugh.gif
