yesss I told u b4, after pass by slightly flood road the sound will back for 1~2 days, this happened 3 times on 2014 year end raining season, the knocking only around 30~40% loud as before mounting change...

the sound is like "tik, tak" when tyre is on and over the hump. the sound is different with engine mounting 1, the "activate timing" on hump also different,  also this won't knock at pot hole. i have no idea what it is, lz go back sc ler... it only happened few times during whole raining season, these mech at sc sure will say failed to simulate zzz

BTW mind to share which insurance company is good? Should I get from Tokio Marine since it is the default insurance by Toyota? I want something that allows me to make claims fast, good service, etc.

Wow, really so bad the latest generation Vios?    I don't know, I tried test driving it, seems pretty solid and satisfying. But then of course, I'm not a BMW/Merc driver so I'm pretty satisfied with the Vios overall, haha 

i just done my 1st service for vios 2015 , toyota service charge really so expensive ...
I did complain for the roof issue , they open up the car roof check and mention toyota already improve with insulation inside the roof , but I still not comfortable with the sound during heavy rain . How should i do ?

Odometer is about 11000.
Every working day, drive from Ampang to KL and back.

mine got no dup sound after passing the hump

but got dup sound when moving after being stationery for long time.

happens early morning, when I'm getting ready to drive to work. or when I've parked for several hours in the mall.

about 2-3 seconds after driving the car forward, there would be a bup or dup sound coming from the rear.

sounds something like when you lift your legs off the brake pedal, but coming from the back of the car. not sure from the tyres, brakes, or boot.

then I guess it's the ABS activation sound, coz the sound happens when I start to push on the accelerator?
