I've gotten my engine mounting replaced since last Tuesday. Until today, there's no knocking issue.

mine currently on day 12 and still fine, no try it kuat-kuat but all the regular noise spot near my house still quiet.

Mine also same.. Replaced new mounting but the sound still exist..

Got my car back 5 days ago. Supposed to change only the lower arm suspensions (1 pair), but was surprised they also replaced the insulator sub assy 1230521440. So far so good. Need to monitor further.
But roof insulation has not arrived yet.

lol did u follow up with that guy who got sound back after 5 days? his sound still exist?

They diagnosed the problem of knocking sound to be caused by the front lower arm suspension when I went to complain. No mention of engine mount during that time. When I got back my car, the service report shows both lower arms and engine mount 440 have been replaced. Even the SA pointed to me the new engine mount. I suspect maybe they still hear knocking sound after changing lower arm, so they could have proceeded to replace the engine mount. Just my guess.

SC is in Melaka. My friend's Vios was also diagnosed here, but was only prescribed engine mounting. He will send in his car in a few weeks time.

what happened to ur lower arm?
btw, i found this mini usb drive selling at reasonable price, for who don't want a long stick cucuk on HU.

Try format? change another stick? or go back toyota drink coffee lol

Today is the 12th day (engine mounting replacement )and still no knocking sound.

Havent but planning.. Many of the new vios 2013 from FB members using it.. One of them selling it at rm80.. Radio reception working perfectly like current

A quick update, the noise did indeed came back (even after replacement for engine mounting).

I've checked @ ToyotaTribe forum, one of them claim that there's no noise after performed the following replacement:
- engine mounting
- both lower arm
- inserting rubber tube at lower coil @ front absorber

Can anyone clarify this ? I'm gonna raise this as reference to the Service Advisor.
