QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Aug 5 2014, 09:03 AM) the clicking or swirling noise, according to the TeamLead of Toyota Balakong, its the Airbag module cable noise. its normal. Aww... i notice my friend's car dont have this kind of sound. Or they choose to give reason rather than fixing it? I also notice sometime the swirling sound is quite loud and at unacceptable level when we make a U turn or when we make left or right steering wheel turn whereas vehicle is moving in slow speed.or in other words... it's like something is jammed inside This post has been edited by aromachong: Aug 5 2014, 10:01 AM |

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Aug 8 2014, 04:57 PM) Lucky you didn't claim the 440 engine mounting. But i'm curious some of forumers here mentioned they successfully solve the knocking noise. So far, i see 2 of the forumers successfully solved which one of them re-visit sc tighten the mounting bolt. the other is you and the person from tribetoyota. so probability is 50% to solve...? out of 4, 2 car owners successfully solved. |

QUOTE(xakarix84 @ Aug 9 2014, 04:10 PM) smart choice, 5.5k for and many silencer and dampening for certain parts.. i forgot where but i see it at somewhere..6speaker, rear disc brake, perforated leather seat, push start with smart entry, acoustic windscreen, projector headlight, classier interior and exterior with chrome here and there, leather steering with audio control, leather gear knob, multi info meter display.... missing anything? if u think car is just a AtoB transport, i suggest J, else take G for more pleasing interior. E feel like hanging in between, not too much more than J, and not too far from getting everything. G spec is really good. If i was given a choice between G and TRD.. i will go for G because i prefer ivory interior colour which make it looks classy |

QUOTE(drakzero @ Aug 10 2014, 04:03 PM) I got my car yesterday. So far so good. Am enjoying the experience so far. I notice that the knocking noise is still there though. It happened twice so far. But it has low chance of happening if I am driving the way I usually drive though. I go real slow at bumps. Hahaha you should claim a new set for the engine mounting. Will still get it replaced at 1k service if it recurs too much. See how it goes. =] It will happen more frequently after few days/weeks so, it still happen for the latest batch? Guess toyota never want to resolve this issue? This post has been edited by aromachong: Aug 10 2014, 05:26 PM |
