one casing for HU and air cond vent cost u easily Rm1k++ plus if u buy from UMW.

so its extremely cheap together with HU

Guys..

i discover some problem for our vios steering wheel..

- start ur car
- dont on air cond
- dont accelerate or put ur gear to Parking mode
- turn ur steering left and right...

can u guys hear "clicking" sound? like tik...tik...tiktik... ??

when ur car is moving turning left and right wont produce this sound..

the clicking sound will be produced if our car is not moving when u turn ur steering wheel left and right

the clicking sound will also be produced if sometime our car in let say reverse mode, or make a u-turn with super slow speed by turning steering wheel left and right....

this kind of clicking noise ..... arghh.. i believe many of here encounter same problem as mine?

Aww... i notice my friend's car dont have this kind of sound. Or they choose to give reason rather than fixing it? I also notice sometime the swirling sound is quite loud and at unacceptable level when we make a U turn or when we make left or right steering wheel turn whereas vehicle is moving in slow speed.

or in other words... it's like something is jammed inside

so u just live with steering loud swirling noise and... engine knocking sound too?

lol you also have this kind of clicking steering wheel sound? How if the music end and we hear this sound while waiting for the next music to be play? lol..

yeah in parking mode.. turn ur steering left and right... the sound is somewhere from steering column ...

hmm.. that rough sound i have.. but put ur ear near steering wheel and turn slowly right and left.. its the other "clicking" sound from steering column...

thats so much of discount you got... damn when i buy at first i got only mere rm500 discount thats really sucks!!

So, meaning the engine knocking sound is still there? Did the knocking sound reduce or it's still the same as before?

Lucky you didn't claim the 440 engine mounting.

But i'm curious some of forumers here mentioned they successfully solve the knocking noise. So far, i see 2 of the forumers successfully solved which one of them re-visit sc tighten the mounting bolt.

the other is you and the person from tribetoyota.

so probability is 50% to solve...?

out of 4, 2 car owners successfully solved.

er.. which SC you went to? plain to claim for engine mounting and lower arm too.

you mean window passenger side got rattling noise? or.. maybe u can define how "longgar" it is..?

and many silencer and dampening for certain parts.. i forgot where but i see it at somewhere..

G spec is really good. If i was given a choice between G and TRD.. i will go for G because i prefer ivory interior colour which make it looks classy

you should claim a new set for the engine mounting.

It will happen more frequently after few days/weeks

so, it still happen for the latest batch? Guess toyota never want to resolve this issue?

For those who own a white vios.. did u guys notice the front piece of bonet and bumper actually got difference in colour? i mean bonet got a bit pure white while bumper got a bit yellowish? ..hmm...

Try to look under shade area or ur house car park area... Yes mine exactly same as urs.. front bonet pure white.. then bumper got a bit yellowish

if u look under sun not so noticeable

same.. it's not so noticeable.. but if u observe it carefully it is difference but no big deal. just wan u to confirm it only haha..

but take note.. body paint 1 year warranty only.
