apa yang elemental best?? I actually need gooding batt life more.
*
I actually had better battery life on elemental compare to franco. I'm still on testing stage though.
I'll test other kernels during this week (faux, bricked, whatever kernel I can find in xda) and then I'll compare.

To those who are interested in UV:

Here are the stock voltage table for N5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...830&postcount=2

And you can check your CPU bin by:
1. Install terminal emulator
2. Type 'su'
3. Type 'dmesg | grep PVS

hey there, u were using rhino shield rite? Any comment? How does it feel? I'm now using a normal Nillkin SP. Not smooth and fingerprints are visible! Thinking of getting Rhino, but what do you think if I pair it with Ringke Slim?
*
Aiks, I'm not using any glass sp, just the sp that came with the ultra hybrid.

But I read from xda that it is compatible. This guy posted a photo of it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...8&postcount=158

hinge method where you apply in bathroom right?
Well when you apply your glass protector, there will be spider web. similar like bubble for plastic protector.

but this spider web will go off when you keep pressing on it.

When i apply mine on the phone. got huge spider web. but i ignore and use it daily. next day, it went gone already.
*
Hinge method: optional to use anywhere. But recommended in bathroom with warm/hot water running to reduce the dust particles. I use that and my sp now is "perfect" whistling.gif

that's the problem. no log. sad.gif
I can only assume that i accidently switch it off while it is inside my pant's pocket.
but kind of lying to myself quite hard though, as i already set screen lock.
mean i can unlock the screen then pressing the power off inside my pant's pocket.  rclxms.gif
*
Haha yeah if put in pants pocket sometimes when you sit down may accidentally press the power button. You wearing skinny jeans is it? brows.gif

Purity works well with Art as well. Well try both if you have the time. The first rom i tried was Cata and its damn good actually. Purity seems good as well with both Art and Dalvik smile.gif.
*
Have you tried Trinity kernel? Heard it was good with Purity rom.

I have used trinity on purity and rastakat and cata. It well with everything i mentioned. Trinty is really smooth and fast. If you want the smoothest experience over battery life i would suggest elementalx and trinity both are super smooth. Trinity does not have d2tw etc caue its a simple kernel at the moment.

If you want battery life Franco and Faux. I feel faux is the best in my opinion for my usage.

SO for speed and awesome performance and smoothness :

Trinity and Elemental x (i feel trinity is slightly smother)

Battery life and decent performance (better then stock)

Franco and faux.
Also, try and undervolt if you can and when you find the best kernel of your choice, i would really suggest to buy their kernel app and tweak around with the UV until you get a sweet balance of battery life and performance for your daily usage without reboots.
*
Thanks for the input thumbup.gif
But I get better battery life on elemental compare to franco. Now still in testing stage so I'm still flashing and comparing kernels.
I do UV on all kernels (-75v), using trickster mod is enough for me atm, am still poor, can't afford to spend so much on their app sweat.gif , but nice to know ppl are donating smile.gif

See it depends on phone, for me elemental x drains more battery then franco and faux. Faux seems to give me the best. I actually undervolt my phone to -50 on all and -150 on the 300 mhz speed. Try and lower your voltage on the 300 to that or may -175 it should be good and you would notice you battery becoming better while your phone sleeps.
*
nod.gif still testing and playing around.

QUOTE(dembaba9000 @ Jan 22 2014, 12:31 PM)
btw if you really wanna flash bricked kernel must buy k-control. others wont work.
*
Really? I read through the thread and there are those who reported can use with trickster. If not then I can always go through the /sys

That's the name of the app. Battery Monitor Widget

By the time they decide to bring in, Nexus 6 already leaked out.
*
Aiya I'm really doubting they will try bring in. They now want to promote their flagphone. G Flex, G2, and also market here kecik for nexus icon_question.gif

My friends since last year early December been calling and asking them, all give same reason.
I also waited until sien yawn.gif
