For 1.8, does the sunroof stop from closing when it detect any object try to block it?

Mine doesnt stop at all when i place any object. I sent to SC but they said the feature is not available for Msia market.

Oh sh*t. That is bad. That is why I never get a car with sun roof. I originally wanted a 1.8 but that had a sun roof. Got a 1.6 instead. 

Anyway, sometimes parents are to blame for letting their kids poke their head out of the sun roof. Yeah, may seem fun at that time but malang tidak berbau. Accidents can happen anytime, been there before.

I am the one who got the Elantra 1.8L Limited Edition from Laura Teoh.
My version is like 2013 Elantra 1.8L Premium, with electric folding side mirror and exclude sunroof.

hi all to all elantra owner , planing to get my 2nd car now  but considering city V and Elantra 1.6 . My fren advise me to get 1.8 elantra instead. Just wan to in term of FC 1.8 isit better than 1.6?

Anyone installed pedal lock (Redbat / Locktech) for Elantra? Should be plug and use type.

Will this void warranty?

For Saga, the SC has no problem with this. But how about Elantra?

This car was made for family and leisure. Attacking corner with hi speed and lack of proper skill could lead to major body roll and lost control of the car. Drive safe bro.. 

to be honest, this elantra overall perform really nice and stable at even high speed on good condition road.. but at those bumpy roads or roads with hole especially at KL area..

oh and one more thing.. the pick up for elantra really terrible leh = = or is it just my 1.6 elantra so bad in pick up

If driving at 90km/h n hit uneven road n it sway i would say its definately the absorber problem. See whether your absorber is APM brand if is apm them go to sc n request for change bcos mine last time my absorber also apm n even worst than sway it bump few times when hit uneven road, but after changing the absorber from the sc n plus the ARB now everything is fine n plus lower the back wheel air pressure its fantastic now.

When the air con is on after a few minute. A lot of water drop at the passenger seat n weat the whole matte.
I suspect climate control air filter..
This monday will go to sc n check

Just got my elantra from LauraTeoh moment ago. I must say that she is very dedicated and very quick in response compared to other SAs contacted me, else I might purchased Cerato instead Elantra.

There is some issue about my trade in, but she did a good work in helping me to solve the issues (in pretty fast and efficient manners). Most importantly, she delivered her promises.   Hope there is good after sales services as well 
Quite a massive jam from Glenmarie to KL, but I enjoy the new ride. To me, the 1.6 is a bit under-power (still acceptable) but the drive is quite fun and quiet. Elantra got a pretty good noise insulation as I can only hardly to hear the noise from surroundings. No issue spotted so far.

BTW, I forgot to bring my smart tag along    and I have to open door to pay for the tolls (as I just done the tinting)    . Perhaps this make other drives there, think even new korean car already got problem with the mirrors...

On the fuel consumption topic... do a test:

Heavy footed or demanding driving, turn off Eco mode

Easy cruising, turn on Eco mode

Change the mode any time during driving.

See got what results
