I'm still using my ATP3 bought in 2003. Still good and its sound is still the same like its first day.

I always set my treble at 70% and bass at 55% while my equalizer [from winamp] is set at vocal but customized a bit at its bass preset.

tested your setting, thumbup.gif

get promedia 2.1  brows.gif  brows.gif  brows.gif

Reading the reviews it seems like a worthy upgrade. Haven't seen Klipsch speakers in local stores for a very long time though.

i saw someone using this last time.. but didnt listen to it though.. but i still remember it because the design is quite something.. haha

It's certainly loud and thumpy enough for gaming. When it was new the treble and midrange was clear enough for music, but it's since developed a slight but annoying crackle.

there are two kind of subwoofer and two type

front face solid type or down face soft type...usually is categorize like this

the pair of tower speaker bottom also have a woofer to handle higher frequency bass.

the sound isolation or you can call your room isnt compact enough...thats why when the bass is heavy it rattles the whole room smile.gif ...which by then acoustic sound absorbing foam comes into help.

previously my rojak HT setup room doesnt have any of the acoustic foam stick to the wall...and i get all the rattles when bass comes in

after spending a few thousand rupiah  whistling.gif ....the rattles gone

also....usually down firing subwoofer is good for music only
