On being nominated as the best player in the Portugese League, he stayed humble and say 'u can't play football alone, thanks to my teammate.'

That's 1 good lad there. Hope he is not too humble when playing against Utd.

Matic done, now Zouma? Seems like Mou is trying to build from the back first. Matic done, Zouma done, next will be Courtois.

Seems like Mou gonna bring back the old Chelsea with super strong defence.

Well, to me, any tactic is good, as long as it wins u matches and championship, why not? Sometimes we have to play defensive football, especially against teams like Barca.

There are also rumours that Mou is trying to revert back to 433. But he does not have enough midfielders to play as the holding midfield. Now with Matic, I think Mou can finally try out his well known 4-3-3.

Yup. Iinm, it's their chairman who resign. Pochettino seems to be going to be sacked too. But latest news is he will remain at Southampton. If Pochettino leaves, he will have no shortages of hirers. Good young manager playing with youths and exciting football.

Wow. Bertrand to Aston villa. Never saw that coming. Didnt search for any transfer news, too busy today.

We're really short on fullbacks now. Azpi, Cole, Iva. But i rmb Mou say before players wont leave unless there is a replacement. Meaning that are we in contact with Shaw dy?

I'm sure Mou has his eye on one defender dy, he wont simply loan out a squad player. maybe Zouma or Shaw. Shaw will be a like for lik replacement for Bertrand. If Zouma comes, I see Azpi and Cole fighting for LB while Iva and Luiz fighting for RB. Zouma and Kalas as back up for Terry and Luiz. Not bad.

On kdb's departure, i feel pity for this kid. He has potential and quality, just maybe not professional enough in training? The source ichi gave didnt state much. So couldnt really judge.

For me, i think its a bit risky to have no bak up for each position. Maybe Shaw will be signed to compete with Cole on the LB position and Moses wil be recalled as back up for Hazard?

Thx! Didn noe there is a thread for that. Januzaj and Kagawa is the most important player to Utd. Expect Ram and Luiz to have a busy day against them.

Hope to see Mata being involve in such a big match. Who knows, maybe Mou will start Mata ahead of Ocsar, oreven play the MaZaCar combo.

Given Luiz's recent performance, i think he will start at pivot. Matic will only start after Utd's game. William deserves a starting spot too.

Imho, Luiz can play well in pivot because

1) he likes to with the ball at his feet, he likes to start the attack, some dribbles
2) the instinct for a defender. As a CB, he knows when there is loose ball and intercepts them, and also the tackles.
3) his physique, his body is of a CB's body and his technique is of a midfielder (passing skill and through ball)

But with Matic now, i think we will start to see Luiz competing for CB position. Ram, Mikel, Lamps and MVG is more than enuff for our pivot. Maybe it is too rush to play Matic against Man Utd, but i think this might be Luiz last game in pivot. Unless he plays so well that Mou has no reason to drop him, just like Azpi's case playing in LB.

Iva and eto start was surprising. Seems like Iva oso is Mou's anak emas. Torres scored bak to bak in 2 games, y no start him? Ayam has rage!

Was nervy in the startinf of the game, Luiz playing too clumsily. Nasib baik eto proving us wrong.

If Luiz continue to be reckless, dangerous, he dy on yellow card. Put matic in for luiz.
