QUOTE(abusive123 @ Jan 23 2014, 11:28 AM) We are not getting anyone. Everton are not selling Barkley, Liverpool are already one up on us for Salah, Shaw doesnt seem likely. We just screwed ourselves over if we pick up injuries. I love this club but it can be real frustrating having to deal with all the comical decisions we make. dude..come on..Oh i guess I can tear that Mata jersey of mine now. trust the club decision. as weird as it is..it always for the good of the club. and If you dont want Mata jersey dont tear it mate. Just sell it. He contributed so much to us. QUOTE(yinchet @ Jan 23 2014, 11:28 AM) but he is a blues in heart. we will have advantage. |

I find it funny stance for Mr abramovich stature...but if ur saying we need to sell to balance the club financial sheet...then I may grousely accept it... to balance the account on spending and income.FFP lah. Roman always ready to spend. but we are playing with a new rules now. thats why in past few season..we stockpile talent on loan and at cobham cademy. |

QUOTE(hakka_jin @ Jan 23 2014, 11:33 AM) Please read my reply correctly... I didn't say to compare their qualities... I would prefer Mata on my team any day compare to RVP... it's their reason to leave the club is different... I hope we all can agree with this part.RVP is leaving because he couldn't win anything at Arsenal... so does Nasri and Clichy.... they leave because they want to win silverware with other clubs Mata is leaving because he wanted to play football... he wants more playing time... totally different case (how can u deny a player who would want to play football?)... and if u ask me, he leave in a good way... unlike RVP which was labeled Judas.... in this case I will not call Mata Judas... and remember, no one player is bigger than the club.... and base on the situation, do you want Mata to rot at the bench and not play? I hate to see him go.... who doesn't? but we need to wish him well too... and remember, this is the second time I said this >>> we are Chelsea |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Jan 23 2014, 11:37 AM) Chelsea's willingness to allow Juan Mata to join Manchester United for £37 million is part of a long-term strategy to try to land Everton's young star Ross Barkley. please no for Salah. Even though a deal for Mata should be completed quickly, there is little chance of Chelsea immediately using the money to sign Barkley, who is out injured with a broken toe. One short-term option being considered by Chelsea is to hijack Liverpool’s move for Mohamed Salah, the Basle winger. Failing that, they could relaunch a move for Inter Milan’s Fredy Guarin, whose move to Juventus is yet to go through and who is available for £8 million. But Chelsea’s intention is to launch a big bid for midfielder Barkley in the summer and allowing Mata to go to United could aid that process. Chelsea have the maximum number of non-homegrown over-21 players registered, 17, of which Mata is one. That is an issue the club are aware will need to be addressed, particularly with Frank Lampard, John Terry and Ashley Cole heading towards the end of their careers. Jose Mourinho is hoping to sign Southampton’s English left-back Luke Shaw as a long-term replacement for Cole, and may yet launch a bid in the final week of the transfer window, and Barkley is also a major part of that strategy. Over recent years, Everton have been forced to sell Marouane Fellaini to United, Jack Rodwell and Joleon Lescott to City, Mikel Arteta to Arsenal and Steven Pienaar to Tottenham. Wayne Rooney moved to United in 2004. Barkley has made 21 appearances for Everton this season, scoring four goals. Despite his injury, the youngster is expected to travel to the World Cup as a key member of Roy Hodgson’s England squad. sos So chillax guys, it's all in the plan. The non-homegrown player problem as I've said. I approve Barkley and Shaw and maybe Rooney too next summer. |

QUOTE(abusive123 @ Jan 23 2014, 11:39 AM) If he wants to play football and get more playing time he can do it at any other club that ISNT in the premier league. We just need to be FIRM with him that we are never going to sell him to any club that is competing with us in the premier league. LOAN him to athletico madrid or Barcelona for all I care. Get all the playing time you want and get into the World Cup. You deserve it. ANYWHERE but United and any other team in the EPL. sort your priority dude. You know what I hope he does come back to haunt us next season. Just to teach these idiots making the decisions at Chelsea a lesson. You'd think after the RVP situation they would have figured it out. club~manager~players. QUOTE(yinchet @ Jan 23 2014, 11:44 AM) yap..haha but if we bid barkley we dont need Rooney.imagine this. Shaw, Barkley and Costa. we can dominate for decades hahahaha wishful thinking. |

QUOTE(SlomoX @ Jan 23 2014, 11:50 AM) I know I do, he wants to play period. Theres no good to him if we let him rot on the bench. Anyway, JM has said that he will not let him go unless hes puching for it. He can vetoed the deal didnt he? based on what i understand.the club will discuss and agree fees and everything with the prospect buyer. then the club will inform the player that there are offer for him. if mata want to take it and leave. he must meet Jose and said this personally to him. then Jose will give the green light. so..everything up to him. Its possible for Jose to block the deal, but whats the point of having someone that want leave. |

QUOTE(abusive123 @ Jan 23 2014, 11:59 AM) @briantwj : since when did we even have a management that is remotely considered human? Look at the malouda situation. Look at the countless sackings of managers over the last few years. critics on case by case. dont simply label them.Anyway done discussing this, let this sorry club do whatever it wants even it means selling one of my favorite CFC player of the decade to the team I hate most in the EPL. i feel you dude, not only you..there will be countless fans heartbroken if this deal go thru..one thing is leaving..another one is to the rival. just keep the faith mate. |

QUOTE(eeki @ Jan 23 2014, 12:32 PM) wah seriously this thread on fire because of Mata. lol. the thread on fire before and after match.this never happen before, thread moving so fast, this is RARE! anyway, just trust the manager la. its Jose after all. we all craving for him to come back before right? let's trust him on this decision if Mata do leave. now is transfer window..normal lah yap..JM QUOTE(yinchet @ Jan 23 2014, 12:34 PM) Tbh with these big amount involve. I dont know about stock..not more than what I learn in Wall Street..and The Wolf of Wall Street..hehehethey have no choice but to success. if they still failed to enter ucl or el they could risk ended up like leeds. unless their owner willing to inject more money into it. but If i'm not mistaken.. they are on stock market and their stock value are based on club performance..they can easily gain millions pound sterling or lose it in a few minutes. risky. |

QUOTE(yinchet @ Jan 23 2014, 12:48 PM) If they failed to enter ucl or even el their stock value will be free falling. damn..these will affect their ability to get loan as well. their stock values will still depend on the future earning, prospect and club performance. without ucl or even el will seriously reduce their earning, not only that their sponsorship will be effected as well. not to mention their financial book will be analyse throughly. Their huge debt will require them to paid big sum of interest rates. you are Gordon Gekko or Jordan Belford? hahahaha |

we all know what at risk here if chelsea let mata go.
the club understand the value of mata. i understand man mangement and rotation policy..but you must also understand one more thing..if the player perform and earn the spot..JM will start him..no doubt..that is why player must earn the place..JM gave chances to Mata but he failed to meet the expectation..Its unfair to others if JM start him if there are other players that train and perform better. this will increase the standard of all players..they want to prove and perform to keep or challenge starting position. I love Mata, but I cant see him at Chelsea..unless he ready to accept the reality of the situation. He need to improve. Drogba lost his place countless time..but he always step up and reclaim the spot. |
