You don't have EA form with you?

Taxable allowance will park together under Section B ---> Will become aggregate income

Tax exempt allowance will park under Section G ---> no need to put in EA form

Should be. Every year I put rm300-400 to "buy" books.
What I notice is, as long as you don't put maximum amount, they don't bother to query.

don't take the risk cos nowaday "their" need money. Therefore they will ask you to give them supporting document for all the claim. PEnalty tax rate+45%

You're correct:

QUOTE
Expenses wholly and exclusively incurred in the production of income (usually very few expenses qualify for deduction from employment income, such as subscriptions to professional bodies).63

63. Section 33(1) of the Act.
