QUOTE(zeese @ Mar 20 2014, 11:10 AM) Yes, because income tax is based on annual income.. in your case, your annual income = 180 days salary.. So, you still have to declare and file your income tax.. those less than 180 days principal only apply to expat?

Hi!
I started a business last year September. But my company has no profit and I am not withdrawing any salary. Do I need to submit e-b or e-be?
Thanks!

not sure if this has been asked before. I have been working overseas since 2013. So i have no malaysian income for 2013. do I still need to submit anything?
If my malaysian income is zero, can I still claim rebate for anything?

If my malaysian income is zero, can I still claim rebate for anything? Yes, just logon and submit 0 income. If a few years you never submit they'll investigate you, then you have to go over to their office to rayu (happened to me while doing post-grad studies), waste time only. No point to claim rebate as taxable income won't ever go lower than 0 (so you won't get free money).

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 21 2014, 11:17 AM) first time submit efilling? wait for 1 month, sometimes they're slow for certain reasons. Nope, not the first time. Last year, it was 14 days on the dot. But this year I'm going to get like 3 times more than previous year. My new company deducted more than Rm2k during my first month on the job. So I want to make sure I get that excess amount back without any interrogation.
