Turbo Boosted V10 Proton engine
Slicks Michelin Tyre
Syntium fuelled

This baby can only rev up to 17000 RPM but don't let that fool ya. The turbo boost give it enough grunt to go faster than the 20000RPM F1 V10.
Anyways, the original was supposed to be a 22000RPM but the lag meant that the gear ratio would be too short to accomodate it. This is the most optimum rev for now but i'll tweak it so that it can reach that RPM again.
Problem now it overheats like crazy. during my test run I blew it after 4 laps.

Nice video one question : when you guys race online, do you turn on car damage? because i saw a couple of cars hitting each other.

Yes we turn on the damage during online race but the damage of mutiplayer was set to 80%. Why 80% not 100%? This is to tolerate with the lag factor. Our ping was high (>500ms) compare with those European racer. During game sync, the car sometimes blink on and off but when we play locally (7 of us), no lagging at all (ping < 100ms).

But the 80% damage enough to broke the wing & damage the suspension as what happen to RonMD (redbull car as shown in video), he was very unlucky been knockout early on the 1st lap (one car hit him from behind).

I don't think u need to invest a lot if u want to join us. Basic requirements;

1. PC (i think u have it... )

2. MOMO/Others Steering Wheel (cost around RM299)

3. rFactor games (cost around RM150)

4. Addon MOD & Tracks = free...

5. Streamyx....

I dont have a pc actually... maybe can borrow from my kid brother since he got a new laptop. and maybe have to install a new graphic card to be able to play the game. as for steering wheel, i think i will use my logitech dfp oh, and need to install streamyx first.

Just downloaded the Oulton track for this week race but have not tested it - what is the time to achieve for this track to be competitive?

can you guys help me? I've downloaded the EuroMod, but after installing it it'll crash. so I traced it from the veh file and found out that I'm missing a folder.
gamedata/vehicles/EuroF3/rf3/
inside it are rf3's mas, HDV and Gen string files. can anyone send that to me?
anyways, I've created a skin based on the A1GP malaysia carskin. I'll upload it later. Note that this is just a beta as i can't generate the car without the missing files to view the real thing

tonight's race at Oulton Park!!

Finally managed to lap in high 1:16 - but still lack of confidence on that last 2 sweeping fast corners - gruesome

wah 1.16!!! Damn fast..... Cant practice la...cause both my sata drive crashed... have to rely on Pata now... man 1.16 really good timing

no lar 1:15 is fast, we saw the front runners running in the low 1:15

went for max downforce coz still 'kecut' sweeping the fast corners on this narrow track

like always target is to finish race (and no offs no spins)
25min test race 18-19 laps with one stop
45min race ~ 35 laps? two stops?

i'm back from Ipoh but my bro still there...don't know he can make it or not tonight...

i might going for 3 pitstops...playing hard braking trying to be consistent at 1:17 but after 9 laps tyre worn out, time 1:20, loosing 3secs every lap.

will do 9,9,9 & 9.........make sure we are on teamspeak tonight.

ohh...crap...my dedicated server down, will check physically tomorrow at subang datacentre.

Quite a turn up last night 13 drivers, only seven drivers finished the race though

Disappointment for me for completing only 8 laps - the infamous stuck on the curb incident just not my day
