1. YES, logitech momo racing wheel is good for this game as that is the only good wheel found in the market here in Malaysia..
2. yup, logitech momo doesn't have a third pedal but i think kimi can answer that coz he's using a custom made pedal with clutch and all that...hey kimi..post your pedal pict lar so they can have a look
For me, i got 2 race wheel 1.logotech momo 2.microsoft sidewinder. So, i got two sets of pedal underneath and i can use one as clutch.

crazy race last night (for me)

logi momo is the only widely avail wheel here and is good, there is the logi dfp which is scarcely avail and overpriced, but the coming logi g25 is the wheel to get

i believe RH refers to Ralph Hummerich mod, his group did some beautiful mod for F1CS, 2003, 2004 season cars, i dun remember,
CTDP is another group of modders, also done some seriously beautiful mod for F1CS as well
when rfactor released the community is waiting for these people to release F1 mod for rfactor
i bet u all know after sony bought the F1 right for games u dun have any real licensed f1 title released for PC (only for PS2)

we are running the F3 mod for rfactor by Lo, currently in the VMS league, final race next week at Trois ***

race at Mantorp update

congrats madnoren, fohat and soze(maiden podium!), finishin 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

i was running good until my first pit stop, qualified 7th jumped to 5th and then 4th after the first corner, n managed to hold that position until pit stop

after my first pit, i got a mechanical problem, real problem n not in game - im using a homemade wheel, yesterday morning i was servicing my wheel and decided to add another spring to counter tension the wheel, everything feels good the added tension and all.

comes the race after lap 12 or so i felt something got stuck and i cannot turn left completely, so cannot catch up with soze, until he spun. but my laptimes were terrible, i decided to park my car by the track side, and managed to pull out the spring, apparently the spring bolt came loose and knocking my wheel pot link.

I just continued slowly coz the wheel felt weird with the spoiled wheel pot link, 1 lap + behind edmeat and finished last 5th position (since Alan retired and the rest of the field retired as well)

guys - i believed the CTDP mod has just been released!!!!

Yes!!!! CTDP F12005 mod released.....distributing through torrent.

A bit slow at the moment, i'm downloading at 12kbps (2 seeders completed so far). Total mod = 165Mb..........will let u know when it's finish BUT i think tonight u guys can download from my server at full speed.

Back to last night race...i'm having pedal problem where i had to set the deadzone min 10% & max 80%, if not i can't rev to max & i can't bring down the speed when throttle off. I'm adjusting my driving style to tolerate the problem & can't qualified in pole position.

Had a very close fight with Mr Bends until laps 11 where he can't keep his pace after been pushing by me...hehehe (better chase rather been chased).

Looking Fohat behind me and I know his doing 1 pit strategy force me to drive a bit aggresive to ensure i'm in front of 30sec gap. It works as plan, and after 2nd pit, i manage to go out about 5sec in front him.

i downloaded and intalled the demo just to get a feel of the game before actually buying it.. but can't even shift from 2nd gear to 3rd i was just using my keyboard since my dad won't let me have his wheel its only a logitech speed wheel anyway.. i guess i should go and have a long read at the manual?

so, what's the different between manual clutching and clutch assist?
i don't think we can feel the pedal clutch like in real car where you feel the engine friction with clutch pads.

what the f? logitech G25 selling for USD299 and it's limited edition.
there's really no wheel that offer 3 pedal at an affordable price?

U can play the demo for free, but to play the full game u need to purchase it.

Members, please download the latest ASRWC Mod v1.05 to be use in version 1150. The round 3 race at Monterey Laguna Seca will be held on 12/08/2006 using latest version 1150. Need to bring down my lap times from 1:14 to 1:11 to be competitive.

i'm a rfactor player but surprisingly, i prefer GT/touring mod instead of all openwheelers. anyone of you here play something else rather than F1? i have about 7 mods now and latest was the zonda. this mod is off da scale.

anyways, maybe it's just me, but I feel like i lost 5~10KMH top speed compared to F1C's version.

Yup we also play tin car racing not only open wheel. Still waiting for JGTC or DTM series for me. But there's magane trophy, Nascar/oval racetard, Posh cup, proto racer and others. Currently we tried with Lienz... good for driftersss...

sepang track don't have the proper one yet. the lost speed could be the version used/running. u r running with v1020, u miss the v1040, v1070 and the latest v1150, got many thing changed...try the v1150, maybe can gain back the lost top speed...

we play Megane Trophy and at the moment playing the Lienz through private server, enjoying the drifting...

But if u want to play Zonda/Megane...just let me know...we will change the Dedicated Server to run the mod as long as u enjoy and have fun with us....currently the server is running FIA F1 MOD by CTDP.....

yea. actually i come here once a while to see what you guys are up to. previously, it was asrwc and now CTDP but seldom see you guys talking about GT/touring series... hehe..

may i know what time you guys race online? i may be able to join (me work night shift but i'm sure can adjust a bit ) also, what kinda aids are you guys enabling? me only have auto clutch coz i dun have another pedal. if you guys are running everything off then i might wanna start practice that way now.

Good to hear u only use auto clutch as an aid. We normally online from 10PM to 1AM everyday. For your info, my Dedicated Server running 24hrs...server name is "MALAYSIAN Server 1150 ". The server up with no password...many Mat Salleh join when we online (12 - 16 players everynight). Currently it runs CTDP F12005 MOD since it's HOT now!!! Only Auto Clutch allowed...see u !!!!!

FYI, we are testing the ASRWC mod since my race will be on 12th Aug 2006, they are helping me to fine tune the car setup...we are on Armaroli private practise server.

I think the lost speed is because of my setup and the fact that my car cannot rev more than 18000 RPM instead of the real 20000 RPM that the engine is capable of. I slipstreamed a Jordan at Istanbul and it was doing 320KMH compared to my 300++ KMh...................

where the F1 mod, F3 mode, GT mod, Zonda Mod is like CS, in half life?

Yup one purchased all mods are free ... compare to Halfilfe mods all kena bayar liao...

it seems that to use the whole car potential in F1 05, you need to use the boost button....
