it seems like you focus and spend more time at Jeju attractions while Seoul focus on shopping and food?

QUOTE(zstan @ Oct 27 2014, 04:50 PM) nope. i know the price different, but for me, juz aint worth the hassle to put 1 bottle into my bag since its easily found in here i mean, unless that is a special brand / version that is not available in here. QUOTE(amidamaru @ Nov 8 2014, 10:37 AM) Can someone advise me. should i buy sweater/jacket in malaysia or in busan. which one is better. i have been busy lately and didnt have enough time to buy anything. My flight to busan is tomorrow morning. I'll touch down in KLIA2 in midnight and stay there for a while. so my option is shopping in KLIA2 or Busan. so which one is better. Busan. more choices and fashion. buy at KLIA2 sure chop-chop-chop. |

QUOTE(kl87 @ Jan 14 2015, 02:57 PM) Been doing itinerary for jeju island, one biggest worried. i went during autumn, so, night fall is kinda very young compare to summer time. Saw the weather forecast , it looks like jeju have a very short sun shine period daily, because aldy sunset even before 6pm. Is this normal through out whole year? I will be going early april. Plan to visit places until 6 something everyday, of tat the case, I will need to squeeze my schedule ...... get up early and plan your attraction visit properly will save you alot of travelling time. also be prepare to left out 1 or 2 places if you unable to visit all, unless you plan to SNAP & GO. |

QUOTE(Mollai @ Dec 23 2014, 12:13 PM) anyone know about the tax refund process? Tax refund this year at SIA is very easy and convenient. There was one day I was shopping in a department store and bought some skin care. The staff told me can get tax refunded so I went to a counter and got it refunded. However, I was being told that I need to declare my items at the customs in the airport before check in, which I didnt because I saw a long queue. Anyone know what will happen next? lol 1. Go check-in your luggage and get your boarding pass at your airline. 2. during check-in, inform the receptionist serving you that which bag you need to take it for tax refund purpose. 3. At Tax refund counter, present your TAX REFUND receipt properly (not in a bunch but a single lane on the table). 4. After that, drop your check-in luggage to the right conveyor belt (oversize) 5. On d Left of the TAX REFUND COUNTER, got few machine and friendly fluent Mandarin speaker assistant to guide you to use the machine. 6. Put your passport into the machine and start scanning your TAX refund receipt. 7. So after scanning all your receipt (the tax refund amount and receipt has been store in their system via your passport), you can go through the Custom. 8. Inside, forget which gate already, got TAX REFUND MACHINE, put your passport and the receipt again to get your $$. Note: some receipt still require you to get your refund at the Counter (manual style). anyhow, the staffs at the tax refund machine is very friendly and helpful. you just need to get the Tax Officer to stamp your receipts to get it going. Able to get back around KRW150k and my gf bought a 'Horse' (Lapalette) handbag with it lulz. This post has been edited by sai86: Jan 14 2015, 06:27 PM |

QUOTE(aspartame @ Aug 9 2015, 10:10 AM) If don't speak Korean, still able to travel around in Seoul without problems? Is English used at all? below. the only problem in communicating for me is at Jeju when you go those local restaurant. Seoul itself is english friendly and as AIAF said, mandarin is very useful as well. QUOTE(AIAF @ Aug 9 2015, 11:36 AM) Just do some basic research before you go and it should be fine. Most touristy places has tourism booths/guides to help you out. This post has been edited by sai86: Aug 9 2015, 05:34 PMThough I would say Mandarin is more useful than English when it comes to Seoul. |

Just a quick question, is it advisable to buy new luggage in seoul?or i should just bring my own? i bought a Korean brand at RM100 and the quality is GOOD!! (cabin size)QUOTE(raptar_eric @ Sep 8 2015, 01:57 PM) thanks sis... what is the average expenses per day, include sight seeing (fees, etc.), food, and transportation? some friends tell me 3k for 7 nights is definitely not enough.. dilemma... afraid if bring RM over to Korea, the exchange rate is bad correct me i'm wrong, but no oversea country accept MYR except a few. so your best choice is to bring USD.
