Rinnai vs Fujioh inner flame hob, which one is better?
*
Fujioh is the first mover in inner flame hob whereby rinnai is the second.

Rinnai is more specialising in hob (and gas related product like gas heater and commercial range appliances).

Fujioh is more specialising in hood (we have a customer record of 18years usage).

ELECTROLUX, TEKA, BOSCH have good hob too, how many of you realise?

So, Fujioh GFP900SV + Rinnai RB-2CG is the best?

I wonder if the cheaper Rinnai RB-2GI which is not made in Japan is ok enough? The price difference is big.
*
the performance of RB-2GI is ok, if you are not demanding on the superior part like cast iron, scott ceran glass...etc it can serve well.

What is the benefit of cast iron and the schott ceran glass? The RB-2GI is using also using Cast iRon, I think the more expensive RB-2CG is using cast stainless steel, what is the difference?
*
Schott Ceran glass is the original of ceramic tempered glass maker.

basically all induction / ceramic hobs are using schott ceran glass.

what is so special of ceramic glass?

- highly resistant to sudden temperature shock
- incredible durable
- never see the severe burn-ins under the pot
- fully recycle

That means that the cheaper RB-2GI using a non ceramic glass which prone for breakage? Since cast iron is good, why the more expensive 2CG is using stainless steel instead?
*
both using cast iron kuari stand.

erm...no record shows that RB-2GI prone for easier breakage.

these two models target different group of customer.

hob market is getting competitive. there is no ultimate model. every brand keeps bringing out new feature. all demo is said and done by the seller.

use with care, overflow issue basically doesn't disturb the user. if one frequently faces overflow issue, one is said to be a messy user, agree?

i have problem with Fotile EEG75201, the ceramic hob.

Whenever i turn on both hob to cook, it seems like the hob stopped working and will only return back to normal after 2-3 days. So frustrating. Have to cook with my backup RM100 electric cooker instead.

Am thinking of calling the customer service, but since I did not return the warranty card (didnt notice i have to post 10 days after purchase since I bought during renovation and just saw the card), am afraid will be charge a tonne when the repair guys come.

What would be the problem so I can be prepared.
*
Ask the shop to adjust the purchase date and call fotile to repair.

Small issue only.

any suggestions for a ductless hood in the range of rm1500?
*
Zanussi
Elba
Rubine
Rinnai
Cornell
Ouyi
Electrolux

There are many more to name. Bear it in mind, recycling hood isn't performing like ventilating hood. Odour and smoke still circulating inside the kitchen.

Thanks for the breakdown. Sadly 90201 will not be an option for me due to limited space although you did a very good job selling me to Fotile. Any chance of mixing 2 different brands from the list above and price within budget? Say the Rinnai hob to Fotile Hood? Any other brands you would recommend in the mixture?
*
right handed cooker usually put the wok on the right side burner instead of left side burner, vice versa.

if you are a right handed cooker and put the wok on the left side burner, I think u need to wear a steel glove to withstand the heat from the right burner.

rinnai has a good variety of hobs to look at it whether a big glass panel or small glass panel.

Electrolux new hob also not bad.

For hood, i believe it is advisable to use duct type instead of flat or chimney without duct to external. Was my understand is true?

Need to get hob and hood before rent out my unit. Only those Morgan and Elba brand meet my budget. Rubine n Fotile is out of my reach.
*
go for Zanussi. hood n hob about RM1100

ideal for rent out unit.
