Anyone got any experience with Bosch series 6 stainless steel cooking hob?

I’m using Bosch. Not Series 6 but Series 8 instead. Anything in particular you’re interested to know?

is it reliable? after sales service?

comparing the bosch series 6 ss (PCC6A5B90) vs DE&E (S8669B) vs Firenzzi (FH-9543). both DE&E and Firenzzi are using sabaf burners and comes with 5 of it whereas bosch only has 3 burners.

i'm ok with the quantity of the burners cause i will be having an induction domino beside.

I’ve only been using it for 1 year ++. So far so good. Flameselect gets you consistent amount of flame. So once you get used to the hob, you would easily know the right number to get the right amount of heat. Flame strength is good, above my expectation.

After sales service is good. There was once I called them because I thought the surface was chipped, they came down and turns out it was only some stubborn dirt. The technician they sent was an experience uncle working for them for more than 20 years. The technicians are their employee, not some third party contractor.

Number of burner actually doesn’t matter much. It’s not like you’d be using all 5 at one go.

I go for Fotile EMG9035 hood and gas hob GAG86210 (better glass compared to my previous purchase GAG76202).

Not sure, we only clean our Fotile hood once a month or sometimes once in three months. Major Cleaning every 2 years once (involves removing the fan and internal cleaning)

So far I find the two tier pyramid style filter easy to clean, over the past 7 years. Compared to our old Fujioh, which had baffle + mesh filter. The mesh filter is a nightmare to clean; as we didn't have dishwasher back then. Running it over hot water doesn't really degrease it and using a commercial degreaser, stripped off most of the filter coating along with the grease.

Not so rajin to clean after every use and mostly used by mom, hence I only clean whenever I am free and feel like cleaning it.

how was the user experience using the fotile hood, can share mah?

Yesterday went to the Bukit Jalil Home Living and bought SZ-CH9633AC + SZ-RC3300i Tri-Zones Multicooker about 3k.

Bought this because can dismantle the fan and wash it. Seem like quite easy to maintain the Hob.

1st time use hod and electric stove. Mind share me your thought and experience on Senz?

The installation recommended height 300~450mm for the electric stove. May I know you all install what height is the best for suction?

Just installed mine few weeks ago, the fan suction sounds quite loud, urs hv this problem too?

Hi, I live in a condo and have just gotten a kitchen hood. It says that it recycles the air. But all I see is the hood blows the air into the cabinet. Attached picture. Air just comes outta the black hole.

Isnt there some type of cover to close the hole so that the air doesn't go into the whole cabinet? Doesn't make any sense to install the hood if that's the case. It will just blow the greasy smoke into the cabinet and damage it.

Our first time using hood, never in my life.. So I am unsure how it works. Brand is Rubine Boxline X90SS.

Can anyone advise if this is actually how it works? Hood blows air direct in to the kitchen cabinet?
