Yah, the trains on sale were the best value to get the IR Remote and Power Functions.  But the older battery boxes are bigger and more powerful on the 42009.
*
so the new battery box is smaller which the one can be recharged?

Nope, smaller in a sense that it uses AAA batteries rather then AA as in the older Boxes. The rechargeable ones are LiPo Lithium Ion Polymer And they are optional and expensive.

It's probably not sent out yet - they are still preparing the order. if i recall you get one email to say thanks for ordering (with your order number), then you should get a second email to say your order has been shipped and they provide a tracking number.

if they've sent you the email with your order number, that means it should already be processed. shipping they will give you a separate number for tracking. i'd say this should be normal
