am thinking of getting a set tmr if there's still stock, but having mix feeling seeing the issue

There are many errors that mostly can be fixed. Regarding on the fan problem, as far as I read from the support community from US and also advice from the Sony President Shuhei, we better leave an open space behind the console, and also make sure to have air con to keep it cool:


BLOD is the only thing that can not be fixed.

I don't think you are as unlucky as me. But make sure you are fully understand on the warranty from the retailer. Get them answer all your question. If they say don't know then you can advice them to call to the PlayStation Asia and get the facts right, or you can call yourself.

do u leave ur ps4 on standby mode or u cut off the power completely?
i always shut down the ps3 entirely together with power cord and so far it still working fine
well just hope they still have stock anyway, wanna get one on new year itself XD

so no one really know if sony store still selling ps4 eh

My console got BLOD. So I don't even have a chance to see the PS logo on my TV screen.

But I saw Shuhei message at twitter that it's advised to leave it standby mode.

sony aint exchanging the model if it got BLOD within 7 days???

Well, I don't get my replacement within 7 days. It's beyond 7days.

do they issue a replacement for u, or basically u pay 1799/1899 for a pice of junk (since it's dead on day 0)

LOL. No doubt PS4 is a beautiful console and as a gamer, we should have it. But just pray that you won't be the unlucky one, and make sure you are well informed on how the warranty works if you are the unlucky one
